Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow image ! I had a Sony tv, great tv, clear image and nice colors, then I got this LG oled 65 in. You really see the difference, the image quality is awesome... it looks like you are inside the screen... or better the screen is alive... 3d The wide of the tv is like a car window width, except the bottom where the gpu and speakers are Which’s much much wider. The audio is ok, I rather plugged in my subwoofer and sound bar with optical output. The menus and remote are intuitive, easy to use. Overall an excellent device.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sound delay problem The TV looks great, has an awesome picture but when the TV is on continuously for a couple hours the audio gets delayed so that the sound doesn't match the lips. LG sent a repair guy out who said it was a defective main board. After owning the TV just one month this was a huge disappointment and a big hassle to have removed from the wall and returned to the store. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good! Picture is definitely better than my Sony 900e and Vizio M60. I am little scared of all of the burn-in mania that is going around. However I don't watch things for long periods of time with static images. Although LG does warn of letterbox movies which I do watch often! Colors are really what they are suppose to look like. When I watched the Boston Celtics their uniforms were their actual color! In side by side reviews the blacks are really much blacker which in turn brings out the real colors of other colors such as blue, red and green. A pleasure to watch. Might get a 65 if the prices continue to drop. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing picture quality! Pros: The picture is amazing, the contrast is like nothing else. I love my phone's OLED display but the TV's is even better. OLED screens are truly superior. The build quality and design is great too. The speakers are great, much better than expected, I was planning on getting a soundbar with a subwoofer but after I got my TV I realized I don't need anything more. Cons: There's some work to be done to make the menus more user friendly and easily accessible. Loading times are not as snappy as I would like on the B8 but they are not that slow to be irritating so they are ok. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Replacement for Plasma TV I was reluctant to get rid of my old Panasonic Plasma TV because I was concerned whether or not the new OLED technology would be better. I was pleased to find that the LG OLED TV was indeed better than my old Panasonic plasma TV. I found the brightness, color, resolution, and black level all to be better. The added smart TV features were icing on the cake. I love the Magic Remote with its mouse-like feature which makes App setup and menu selection a breeze. I would recommend that anyone with a plasma TV make the switch to LG OLED technology. You won't be disappointed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Patience pays off! So when I first saw this TV my mouth drooled..... The picture quality was second to none. My GOD.... I never imagined a screen could be so thin!!!! This is a sexy TV. But alas when it first came out the price was beyond my reach :'( Fast forward a year. OMG!!! I CAN AFFORD THE PRICE REDUCTION!!!! I slapped down my credit card and brought home my new baby :) Even though it was still a steep price for someone on my budget, I have "zero" regrets. As that old saying goes "A thing of beauty is a joy forever" Luvin it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unsure I purchased this TV from QVC on 05/20/19. I hooked it up and the picture seemed to be very nice until the screen would go from program to commercial. Or anytime that the screen would fade to Black. There seems to be an uneven tone on the screen. The right side of the screen would be pure Black and the left side of the screen would be a shade of Gray. My first thought was to send it back, but the oversized box that they sent it in was way to big. So I said that would contact LG customer service, but I am going to wait a minute to see if gets worse. I did a picture test and the picture is great, it is only when there isn’t any picture on the screen that I can see the uneven color ( Blackish Gray) on the screen.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from HATE the ads and no way to disable LG is the most annoying TV I've ever owned. First, I turned off all the adds and denied them access to track my information but I STILL see adds from their "my channel" - it pops up huge on the left side of my screen whenever I hit the home button. Tried to move "my channel" to the end of the list so I can't see it but of course it won't let you move it. Then I also tried to delete their shopping channel app to give me more room at the bottom - nope, they won't let you do that either. Personally, I resent not being able to turn on my TV without seeing content I do not want to see. They only other annoying thing is that it comes with economy mode turned on and the screen looked incredibly dark - so dark I thought it was defective. Do yourself a favor if you but it (which I don't recommend) and turn the economy off before you start trying to make adjustments to make it brighter, etc. I guess I just expected better from LG. Very disappointed in this product overall. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Picture and Surprising nice sound with atmos OLED Picture is breath taking and to my surprise the TV Sound complements to it nicely, both 2 channel speakers also serve as a woofer, though I recommend a home theatre to go with it, honestly sometimes I dont feel the need for it with this TV's sound, again it depends on the size of the room. Coming to the Smart capability its the best, the ease of use with smart magic remote and the DLNA support are very nice, it seemingly able to integrate all smart features and apps. Overall a great 2018 OLED B8 TV for better deal price, more than happy with the purchase. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dont' buy if you expect Google Assitant to work I have been messing with my new TV for over 2 weeks trying to get TV to connec to my Google Assistant. Based on my efforts and the endless reviews and comments online, It won't happen and LG is in no hurry to make it happen especially in the US. Beautiful picture anyway, features just don't work. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional Television!!! This LG Oled TV is absolutely stunning! I've had it for about 2 months and am still regularly impressed with the incredible picture. Even just using stock settings and power saving (to maintain it's lifespan); it looks phenomenal with regular broadcast content and especially with 4K content. I will sometimes find myself just staring at the amazing picture (forgetting that I'm watching something that I don't even care to see). Using only the included sound setup, the sound quality is also great for stock speakers. Also am impressed with the built-in apps, wifi, gaming, etc. I highly recommend this amazing piece of technology. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best TV I have owned I have been looking at LG OLED sets with envy when visiting store displays but the price always stopped me from buying. However, I recently saw an excellent buy and took advantage of it. I have no regrets. The picture is amazing and the built in sound is so good that I see no need to supplement it with other speakers. The Gallery feature is amazing with each piece of art shown beautifully framed. Better than a rare trip to art galleries to see the originals. This set includes many other great features to make using it a joy. The set is amazingly thin and attractive and works with Amazon Alexa. I highly recommend this set. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Set is fabulous; remote is miserable I never thought I needed or wanted a 55" super thin screen -- and yet --once in the house, never looked back. It is sleek, the images are sharp and even the sound (which I was initially concerned about) is all very good. The interface takes some getting used to. There's almost TOO MANY options. But I love the TV. The magic remote, on the other hand, leaves a lot to be desired. One of the best things about "recording" shows or watching digital tv is being able to fast forward through commercials or rewind. This remote has no buttons for that -- yet multiple ways to get me to Netflix or Amazon. Also 4 color buttons that seem to have no purpose whatsoever. Other than that - great TV. Rated 1 out of 5 by from I bought this tv less then 2 months ago and it failed already. A Manager was suppose to call me back. It’s been 3 days and no return call. Poor customer service. I’m highly disappointed they treat they’re customers like this that has spent upwards of me $10000 on their products. I will never buy lg products again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Picture, great features, 4K & HDR is awesome I have been looking at OLED for a couple of years as an option to replace my Pioneer plasma, which still has a better picture than most LCD/LED TV's. OLED, and specifically the B8, has the black levels & contrast ratio, while doing 4K and HDR, that finally compelled me to make the switch. I am glad I did! The entire family is impressed with the picture. If you are interested in seeing movies as they were intended to be seen, and watching sports in incredible detail and contrast, then an LG OLED is the set for you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic TV I have always wanted an OLED tv and have been eyeing the B8 for a few months now. the price finally got low enough for my wife and I to buy it. The TV is BEAUTIFUL. The picture quality is fantastic and such a step up from a normal LCD. My wife and I game and watch movies daily and it is a joy to watch. The only reason why I can't give five stars is that the TV has difficulty connecting to our 5ghz wifi. This seems to be a common issue with LG OLED tvs, and could just be a wifi card issue. We lowered the channel frequency on our 5ghz wifi but it didn't help. We just use our older 2,4ghz wifi and it does work but it is slower than our 5ghz wifi. Despite that, this TV is still worth getting! Buy it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice, long learning curve I am very happy with my purchase. I know I spent almost $1,000 more on this OLED TV than I would have had I bought a standard LED TV, but the picture really pops with streaming and DVD's. I am still learning the features, and have not even gotten close to my final adjustments to the picture, but am still very pleased. I will get this calibrated after viewing it for (roughly) 200 hours, and expect I will be very happy. Looking forward to a long term relationship! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dead I have had this for a month now. After a week, 1 dead pixel. After 2 weeks, 2 dead pixels. A superior technology in OLED is muted and the watching experience has lost its luster in less than month. In the product manual, it states that dead pixels can be expected and that it does not affect the performance of the product. But it does affect my viewing pleasure. I wish I had my plasma back. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall a very good product; a few issues Great picture. Internal WiFi a little weak; item does much better with a 4K Roku stick. A nagging issue is that the LG Remote is not compatible with the Sonos Playbar or apparently, the Sub, when the TV is on. The only way I've figured out how to adjust volume is to use the Sonos app on my iPhone. LG needs to address this issue in consultation with Sonos, as a consumer would not be expected to know of this incompatibility before purchasing the product. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Disappointed refresh rate I have been watching network television (not always broadcasting in 4K), shows on streaming media, sports and movies on premium cable for a month. Very disappointed in the quality of my 65” OLED tv picture and refresh rate. I have changed picture formats (vivid. Standard, sports etc.) and manual settings only to have grayish tints in the picture. Also the picture is not clear (slow refresh rate), shadows on scrolling print and it’s dull. Disappointed! Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bad remote I am having trouble with the interface. The magic remote when I choose guide, doesn’t click on the show I want without triple and quadruple clicks and then at times it awitches to god knows what channel instead of the one I clicked too. Voices need to be more immediate and not load for so long. I like the size and clarity however otherwise my review would be a 2 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I really wanted a 65" but my space - well mostly my wife - wouldn't let me so I am reporting on the 55”. First, the picture is amazing but that’s well documented. I recently cut the cord so the interface is very important. The true test - back to my wife - is how well she can maneuver through the apps, etc. Here the TV really shines. Very intuitive & easy to use. I still wish I had the 65” but settling for the 55” is just fine. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad to the bone Bought this TV at Best Buy and was looking for a regular 4k at the time. When I saw how much contrast the OLED had made colors pop, compared to the regular 4k display, I was sold. I will never buy another TV that's not an LG OLED. Also, the user friendly interface of the TV makes getting anything done menu wise super easy. If I need to get to a app or setting quickly, the voice remote is super quick. I never have to repeat myself like other remotes, that can never understand my voice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Picture - Great Blacks I purchased this TV 2 weeks ago and what an amazing purchase. I was looking for a TV for a dark room and after buying another LG that didn't fit the room lighting due to blacks that looked gray, I returned and upgraded to this beauty. Blacks are perfect due to the OLED technology and adjusts picture brightness according to lighting in the room. For late at night movies and dark room viewing this TV is perfect - especially for shows that are shot in dark settings. I don't think I'll ever go back to non-OLED technology. Rated 5 out of 5 by from The LGB8 is a fantastic OLED I am new to the world of OLED after owning a budget 55" LED. The LED was okay for its price point. But, the black levels were dark grey at best and HDR performance was blah. So, I started to look at other brands and researched the 55" LGB8. I saw it for sale over the weekend and jumped on it and, boy, I'm glad I did! This TV is amazing. With a few tweaks, I am amazed at the pure quality and vibrancy of this TV. HDR looks stunning, especially watching Planet Earth in Dolby Vision. Every bit of detail is super sharp. So, are there a few cons with this TV. I cannot see any for now. I have read about the so-called screen burn-in. I would imagine after many hours of a static screen something may happen. But, for me, I turn it off when I have finished with it. In conclusion, this is the real deal in TV!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Audio sync delay problems. Just bought LG B8. It has audio sync delay problems. Audio sync is fine when TV is first turned on, but then lip sync goes off the rails the longer the TV is on. My unit came with a chip in the lower left corner of the screen also. Great picture. Poor quality control. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Picture, audio less than impressive. I purchased this tv a few weeks ago. The video is good. But the audio has a tendency not to match the video at times. I guess I am not altogether convinced that this is worth the extra money that I paid for it over a standard 4k led tv. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it! The software and image are great! What I really like, after owning another OLED TV is the advanced software that ties everything together! The Voice control is nice to. In the first week of ownership the software updated three times! So they are constantly adding and fixing. I wont waste your time talking about the wonderful image because if you didn't already hear how great OLED is then you wouldn't be looking at such a high priced TV. I use it as the Media center and connect to a network NAS and use PLEX for anything the TV cant handle. Cant beat it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
