Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). Width question: The min/max on specs states 25/35-5/8. The dimension size of the unit 19" wide. My window is 23" wide. Will this fit? I am replacing another GE AC window unit that measures 19"w and 14" tall. The width is my question. Thank you.

We looked over the specs you listed and the available space you have and this model will be able to fit! This model is able to be installed without the side curtain panels, which will allow for installation in a window with smaller width. The 25" minimum includes these side curtain panels and are not required for installation. We recommend checking our Owners Manual for proper installation when excluding these panels. How much space does the inner part need to the window? I just have 6-3/4“ space.

I have a window measuring 20 inches wide, but with a protruding flange of 1 inch all the way around for the seal of the window. That may effectively limit a full 19 inch clearance for the unit. Is the AC a little smaller (18 inches wide) at the outside ?

Does anybody know how many decibels does this AC have ? I read that it might be loud sometimes... Thank you in advanced.

Hi jenry! We appreciate your question. The decibel ratings are not available for room air conditioners. With residential air conditioners, sound levels are actually more dependent on installation factors than on the sound produced by the unit. The installation variables can depend on (but are not limited to): Location of the unit (ex. attic, etc.), type of unit (wall or window mounted) and how it is mounted. We unplugged our GE window unit fit safety reasons while we traveled.  When we returned we plugged in the unit and there is a constant beeping noise and the digits 88 are in the display and the unit will not stay on.  What do we do?

I need to know how to set the temperature to get the room cool. When I try to put the temperature to 64, it goes back to 84. Is the higher temperature the way to cool the room or the lower temperature?

It will temporarily show the Set temperature while setting the temperature in Cool or Eco modes. This explains why it reverts back to 84 after you set the temperature to 64. If you have not already done so, try setting the Mode selector to Cool and set your desired temperature and see if the room begins to cool down with time. I just purchased my ac about a month ago.I turned it off the other night and now it won’t turn back on.I have checked the breaker,power supply,etc. and all that is fine.Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?
