Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise. Lawn equipment, seasonal items, and special order merchandise are excluded from the lifetime reinstatement benefit. See a store associate for complete details.

My unit is shutting down randomly without displaying an error code. On the remote, it shows a double dash instead of temperature when this happens, and I have to restart the unit to make it start back up. What do?

What does FL mean on the top of the air conditioner?

Hello! We are so grateful to have you as part of our GE Appliances family. We know it can be confusing to understand why your model is displaying a certain code, but we are always happy to assist! The Water Full indicator (“FL” on the control panel display) illuminates when the internal water tank has filled with condensed water. The air conditioner automatically turns off when the tank is full and will need to be emptied to resume operation. You can find instructions for emptying the internal water tank on page 8 of the Use & Care Manual here: products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-5000440-2.pdf If you are using the unit in the DRY mode as a dehumidifier for an extended time, you can set the unit up for continuous draining if you prefer. what does the error code E4 indicate?

Waiting to get a new AC Unit. Can this one be left on 24 hours a day? Curious about when we are at work and our dogs are home.

We love that this model has a 24-Hour Timer that you can program to turn on or off between 1 and 24 hours for a continuous cool. We know how important is it to ensure your pets can stay cool during these hotter summer months, and we are happy to help! You are welcome to run this unit continuously or as long as desired. Is the Permanent filter removable and cleanable?

Hi there! Thank you for connecting with us. This is a great question, and we are happy to provide guidance. Yes, the filter in this unit is removable and cleanable. The air filters should be cleaned at least every two weeks for your unit to operate at optimum efficiency. DO NOT operate this air conditioner without a filter because dirt and lint will clog the unit and reduce performance. To remove the filter: 1. Unplug or disconnect power. 2. Pull to remove upper filter panel. 3. Wash or vacuum the dust from the air filters. NOTE: If washed, gently shake the filter to remove the excess water and dust particles trapped in the filter. 4. I am trying to install in a sliding glass door, is there a kit with longer panels?

The window kit that is included with this unit would be 20"- 46" and we wouldn't have any longer kits that would be compatible and available for this model. I have followed the instructions for the portable air conditioning unit and when I turn it on I don’t get any fan. It seems to cycle but shuts itself off after a few tries.
