Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

Is it possible to install this unit in an awning window?

Asked by: whatcheer
Hey there, It's nice to hear from you today. Thank you kindly for asking this question! We wouldn't recommend installing this particular unit in an awning window, as it would require the support from the top window seal to stay in place. We know it is getting incredibly hot this summer and having an A/C is crucial. We would recommend looking into our portable A/C units or one that could be built-in to the wall, these are great options for when you have limited or restrained window access. The portable units would still require a standard window seal, but it would be able to be installed in smaller window sealings. We hope this helps out some. Stay safe out there. Jonathon@GEA

The specs section for this product shows a 63 dB rating but a GE rep in the Q&A section claims high setting only emits 54 dB. What is it really? Do the specs show Outdoor noise and the rep is saying Indoor noise? That's very confusing and needs labeling

Asked by: sam96
Hi there! We do apologize about any confusion this has caused. We are more than happy to provide clarity with the correct information. At the highest level, this unit emits 63 dBA. The decibels ratings for this unit are as follows: Quiet = 43 dBA, Low = 51 dBA, High = 63 dBA. Again, We do apologize about the confusion this has caused. I have a power station that is recharged by solar, 110v or 12v systems. It is rated at 2,000 watts and 2,000 watt hours. This is a Bluetti AC200P. Can I run this unit with a 2,000 watt station? Thank you.

Asked by: Spkrmakr
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, this is a great question! In general, appliances can be used on an auxiliary power generator (gas, solar, inverter, etc.) as long as it can provide the proper voltage (120V or 240V), frequency (hertz), and can supply enough power to the appliance. Generators are usually rated in watts, so “sizing” a generator means that you'll need one with enough watts to power what you plug into it. We do not make recommendations on the brand, type, or size of generator you will need; however, we can provide the rated power consumption of our appliances so that you can determine if the generator size is adequate. You will find this information in the specifications for your model or on the appliance rating plate. This model requires a 115/120-volt AC, 60-Hz grounded outlet protected with a 15-amp time-delay fuse or circuit breaker. This is a 710 Watt unit. Air conditioners place a high demand on the power source when the compressor cycles on. This is commonly known as the “surge power.” When sizing a generator, make sure it can cover the surge power (approximately 2X the running power, and lasts only a second or two). We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

My window is 43" - will I still be able to install? Or, is there another unit that could work?

Asked by: TaraNic
Hello! Thank you for your interest in GE Appliances. We are happy to help. This model air conditioner will not be able to be installed in your window, as your window is too big. We do not offer window air conditioning units the width of your desired space. We do apologize about any inconvenience this causes. Thank you for checking with us. We hope this helps! - Adrian@GEA

The specs list the width of this unit as 19" but multiple reviews list that as incorrect. Amazon says the width is 21.25". What is the correct width? Can you please correct the product page?

Asked by: Deee4314

It says 43 dBs, but is that only on low? Usually air conditioners have a breakdown for each setting.

Asked by: Cara123
Hello Cara123 - Thanks for reaching out to us, and we apologize for our delayed response. Here are the dBAs for each setting. These are in cooling mode and measure both the compressor and fan sound levels: Quiet = 43 dBA Low = 51 dBA High = 54 dBA We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA
