Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise. Lawn equipment, seasonal items, and special order merchandise are excluded from the lifetime reinstatement benefit. See a store associate for complete details.

I recently purchased a few gas range and while I am happy with the performance, I am dissatisfied with the venting system. Too much force heat is escaping. This is a huge design flaw and I am now stuck with a mini furnace in my kitchen. Any suggestions?

Asked by: Deb5876
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, and for your purchase of a new GE Appliance! We truly appreciate your choice to do business with us, and we are sorry to hear your disappointment with the design of this model. The oven will vent from the rear of the cooktop, this is how the unit regulates its temperature and keeps the internal components from overheating. We do appreciate your feedback. Your comments are important to us. Our product design division takes these suggestions into account when planning future products. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

When I use the broil button, the bottom oven burner comes on. When I use the bake button, the top broiler burner comes on. This is completely backwards. Is there a way to reset the controller so the buttons activate the correct burners?

Asked by: lynn_g
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us! What you have described is certainly not normal operation. You must be so frustrated. Please disconnect power to the unit for two to three minutes. This will reset the electronic components and hopefully restore normal functioning. Should the issue persist, this will require service by a qualified technician. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

The stove igniter (bake) stays on as soon as I plug in stove. I've had to leave my stove unplugged, because as soon as it's plugged in igniter glows and gets hot enough to light stove. I've replaced control board and thermostat. What else can it be?

Asked by: MelvinM
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us! We are so sorry to hear about the issue with your range, and know you must be quite frustrated. Why does so much heat vent out, feels too hot to touch or use range top, why?

Asked by: Deb5876
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, this is a great question! When the oven is in use it will vent out over the cooktop area. This can cause this area to become warm or hot to the touch as the oven regulates its temperature. Please use caution around the cooktop when using the oven. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. - Trey@GEA

Is there a warm setting? I have seen on two websites stating no, but the stove I received has a warm button next to broil?

Asked by: justin_835
Hello! Thank you for choosing GE Appliances for your home. We are more than happy to help. Yes, this model range has a Warm setting. Warm mode is designed to keep hot foods at a higher temperature for up to 3 hours. Preheating is not needed for the Warm setting. Do not use warm to heat cold food other than crisping crackers, chips, or dry cereal. It is also recommended that food not be kept warm for more than 2 hours. To initiate the Warm setting, press the Warm pad and then press Start. We appreciate you checking with us, and we hope this helps! - Adrian@GEA
