Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

We recently purchased model JGBS66REK4SS and I notice when the oven is on there is a lot of heat that is coming out of the vents. So much so that is very hot when also cooking on the burners. Is it normal for it to produce that much heat?

Asked by: AS77
Hello AS77, It's good to hear from you. Thank you so much for getting in contact with us. We are always happy to help. We have found that it is normal for the vents to let out some pretty hot air. However, if you believe it is hotter than it should be; we would recommend lowering the internal temperature of the oven. If you look to page 12 of the Use and Care manual there is step-by-step instructions on how to lower the internal temp. Here is a digital version of the manual for your convenience: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-2000316-3.pdf Let us know if this helped or not. Stay safe. Jonathon@GEA

I have a JGB720EEJ1ES Adora convention gas range. I've had it for several years and very dissatisfied with the finish on the grates. The black finish is slowly coming off leaving a silvery finish, is there a reason for this? Is there a slate touch up pain

Asked by: Mat726
Good afternoon Mat726, We would like to thank you for reaching out to us and for being part of the GEA family! We hate to hear the grate is starting to lose its gorgeous finish! We will see what we can find! Grates can lose their finish if they are not cleaned regularly or properly. To achieve the best clean, we recommend our grates be cleaned in the dishwasher, however after cleaning it is a good idea to apply a small amount of cooking oil to the grate then bake the grate in an oven at 350F for 10 minutes. This baking process protects the finish of the grate. We do not recommend repainting ranges or cooktops because they are a baked on porcelain enamel surface. When exposed to heat, painting such a surface will result in cracking and peeling after a period of time, the paint will not adhere to the porcelain. Small touch-ups are fine, though. To touch up the paint on the grate you will need to get a certain paint. We will post a link of this paint below! https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/spec/WR97X27706 We want your grate to look as good as the day you got it. So if you have any additional questions or anything, please let us know! Drew@GEA

Brand new stove and oven door is locked - tried everything and we can't get it opened.

Asked by: Angry Momma
Hi Angry Momma, We hate to hear that your door isn't wanting to open. We will look into this and get to the bottom of it! We checked the owners manuals and installation manuals for you. After we combed through both of them, we have some suggestions to try and fix this! We recommend making sure that the lock control option has not been activated. If this is activated none of the functions of the range will be able to operate properly. To turn this feature on or off, press and hold both the + and - pads for 3 seconds. Another recommendation is to disconnect the unit from power by either unplugging it for 30 seconds or flipping the breaker and wait a minute before flipping it back. If these troubleshooting tips do not fix the issue you would need to schedule a service technician to come diagnose and fix the issue. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm. We hope this is able to be resolved without any additional headache! If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us again! Drew@GEA

Where can I get a stove protecter?

Asked by: Misty 638
Hello Misty 638, We hope you are doing well today. Thanks for getting in touch with us. We don't currently offer stove protectors from our parts store. We would also recommend to be careful when purchasing whole-stove protectors as they would have to handle the heat from the gas burners. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes. Stay safe out there. Let us know if you have other questions. Jonathon@GEA

What is the point of having the broiler at the bottom? It's rather inconvenient having it so low to the ground. Is there a broiler in the main compartment as well?

Asked by: Cookies4life
Hi Cookies4life, We hope you are doing well. Thank you so much for reaching out to us. We are more than happy to help out. This beautiful range does allow broiling in the main oven compartment; the broiler drawer is designed to allow more capacity for the oven if needed. We recommend taking a look at page 13 of the Use and Care manual for more information and instructions on broiling. Here is a link to the manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-2000316-3.pdf We hope this helps out some. Thanks again for contacting us. message display on my stove "Dead line" what it means? and it was piping like 5 mins

Asked by: Alexm28
Hello Alexm28, Thanks for reaching out to us here at GEA! We are happy to assist you! We apologize for the issues you are having with this display error on your range. We recommend trying to reset the circuit breaker. You can unplug the range and then re-plug it back into the outlet source to see if this resets the display error. This error code can display when power is applied to the unit, but it has not been wired correctly. Contact an installer or electrician to correct the mis-wire and the oven will function normally. If this does not work we then recommend contacting our technicians. You can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-432-2737, Mon-Fri 7 am – 10 pm ET, Sat-Sun 8 am – 6 pm ET or schedule online anytime at: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm Please let us know if you have any additional questions! Have a good day! Del@GEA

My oven preheats very slowly. I timed it today and it took 10 minutes to heat to 350 which is not too bad, but it never did get to 475 or 550 when I needed those. I waited 45 minutes and it still said PRE on the window

Asked by: blanco2020
Hi blanco2020, We are so sorry to hear that your range is preheating slowly. We have a few tricks up our sleeves to see if we can get to the bottom of this issue! First, turn off the circuit breaker for the range, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on. This makes sure that it is not getting half power. If it was newly installed, then we recommend having the installer check the power cord to make sure it was wired to the range properly. If not newly installed, an electrician can check the power connections and power supply to the range. If you notice the issue still we would recommend scheduling to have one of our service technicians come out and diagnose the issue. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm We hope this solves your problem and have a great weekend!
