Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

Trying to use the Griddle zone. When I turn both the left Burners on it does NOT seem to heat up the bridged zone between the two burners. It just seems to turn on the two individual circle burners. Am I doing something wrong? how do I get the bridged zon

Asked by: DJ771962
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, this is a great question! The Bridge Zone allows you to use the left front and rear burners together to create a larger cooking area for cookware like roasting pans and griddles. The two 8" burners are situated close together, so there is no need for a middle element to "bridge" the two together. Simply set both burners to the same heat setting. When doing this the area outside of the two circular heating elements will not actually heat, but rather will be covered by extension. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

Is there a way to make the timer louder? I can't here it in the other room.

Asked by: Giraffebaker
Good afternoon, This is a great question and we are happy to help make your timer louder! You are able to change the volume of the timer. If you check page 12 in the owner's manual you will find how to adjust the sound under the "Sound Volume" section. You can also change the tone from either a single beep or continuous. The continuous tone will repeatedly sound every few seconds until a button is pressed. This might help if you are in different rooms. We have posted the link to this manual below for your convenience. https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-2000776-2.pdf We love having you in our wonderful GEA family and if you have any additional questions, feel free to connect with us again. What is the best type of griddle pan to use for this cook top?

Asked by: Giraffegirl
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, this is a great question! All cookware (including griddles) used with the Bridge Burner feature should have a flat bottom and be recommended by the cookware manufacturer for use on radiant smooth glass cooking surfaces. You can find compatible griddles and other compatible cookware for use on a Bridge Burner at department stores, kitchen and gourmet shops or online. We cannot provide brand names for Bridge Burner cookware that will work on your electric range. The Bridge Burner will accept a griddle size of 18" X 10" or smaller. This size of griddle will fit properly on the 17" X 8" surface created by the Bridge Burner. If a larger griddle is used it will overlap onto the trim, causing the griddle to sit unevenly. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

Does this oven make the time conversion  from conventional to convention for you.

Asked by: Mkbh
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, and we apologize for our delayed response. This is a great question! The model listed here does have Auto Recipe Conversion. When the oven is set for Auto Recipe™ conversion you may see CON appear shortly after setting the temperature and then the oven will automatically be set for 25 degrees less than the temperature entered. On most newer ranges, the display will show the set temperature, not the converted temperature. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

can I use cast iron skillets on any GE electric smooth cooktop?

Asked by: Darby2021
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, this is a great question! Cast Iron cookware is not recommended. If the cookware has a burr or rough spot, it will scratch the glass surface. Additionally, it is slow to absorb heat. Once this type of cookware heats up, especially on high heat, it holds an intense amount of heat which is transferred to the cooktop. This can cause the element to shut down as a response to the temperature limiters which indicate surface temperature is too high for cooktop components to handle. Porcelain Coated Cast Iron cookware is okay as long as the cookware is covered completely with porcelain enamel. Caution is recommended when using cast iron cookware that is not completely covered with smooth porcelain enamel, as it may scratch the glass ceramic cooktop. Additionally, if used at high heat for a long period, it will hold heat as described for plain cast iron and the heating element could shut down in response to the temperature limiters which indicate surface temperature is too high for cooktop components to handle. Good day, Can someone please tell me how to get the store into griddle mode? The video shows using only one control being used, for both front left and rear burner in griddle mode. Thank you, J

Asked by: ilovedessert
Hi!, Thank you for reaching out and choosing GE Appliances. In order to use the griddle, the small burner on the lower left and the large burner on the upper left must be turned on. For a video using griddle mode follow the link below to YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/embed/FQUNuhRfm08?rel=0 We hope this helps! Dom@GEA

If I set the timer while the oven is preheating, the display goes to the oven temperature, not the timer. The stopwatch symbol says the timer is set. If I touch the timer button, instead of showing the timer value it shows 0. How do I see time remaining?

Asked by: Randomcook
Hi, Thank you for reaching out and choosing GE Appliances! On ranges and wall ovens, some electronic displays can show only one function at a time (ex. Clock, Temperature, Timer). The clock is displayed unless you are cooking or using the timer. If you are baking or broiling, the temperature will be displayed. If you are using the Timer, the time will be displayed. If you model has a temperature probe, the probe temperature is displayed. To view the clock, temperature, timer, probe temperature when it is not displayed: Clock: Press the Clock pad or the + and - pads for 3 seconds (as appropriate for the model) Timer: Press Timer Temperature: Press Bake, Convection Bake, Broil, etc. (as applicable) Probe: Press Probe for the probe temperature. We hope this helps! Dom@GEA
