Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

When I have the temperature of the upper oven set around 200-250 degrees, can I set food containers directly on the bottom of the oven. I am looking for a way to expand the capacity of the oven just keep foods hot.

Asked by: 32Jack
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, and we apologize for our delayed response. This is a great question! Food containers cannot be set on the bottom of the oven at any time. Whenever the oven is in use, food must be placed on one of the oven racks for safety reasons. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. - Trey@GEA

My son is a chef and he tends to scrap the bottom of the fry pan on the glass top to stir or toss food while cooking. Is that recommended for glass top stoves like this GE-JBS86PSS. Please advise.

Asked by: Tootslani
Hi!, We appreciate you reaching out and choosing GE Appliances. GE Appliances induction, radiant, and radiant/halogen cooktops are durable "glass ceramic" material which is impact, stain, and scratch resistant. Keep in touch! Dom@GEA

How on earth are you supposed to clean this model after using the steam clean feature which doesn't remove anything baked on when the heating element in completely in the way of scrubbing the bottom or back wall?

Asked by: desantisan
Hello! We hope you are doing well and staying safe. We're definitely sorry to hear about the trouble with cleaning this model. While it is possible to remove the heating element, we wouldn't recommend it as we would hate for you to have trouble putting it back on. We think it would be best to run another steam cleaning cycle to help loosen the particles and then be wiped down. We hope this helps out some. Stay safe out there. Jonathon@GEA

What is the max temperature for the bottom over? 450 or 500?

Asked by: Eric12989
Hello! We hope you are doing well today and that you have had a great week so far. Thank you for reaching out and asking this question for us. This sleek range would have temperature maximum of 550 degrees Fahrenheit on both of the oven sections. Stay safe out there. Thank you for the interest! Jonathon@GEA

We are trying to set the clock on our brand new GE electric oven. We have tried pressing the 9-0 for three seconds and also tried the set clock button. Neither is working. Please help.

Asked by: kathy149
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, and we apologize for our delayed response. We are so sorry to hear about the trouble you are having setting the clock on this range. Please review the instructions for this on page 11 of the owner's manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-80764-5.PDF. If these do not work please disconnect power to the range for two to three minutes. This will reset the electronic components and hopefully restore normal functioning to the clock. Should the issue persist, this will require service by a qualified technician. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

why can I not set clock using instructions?

Asked by: Joshen22
Hello Joshen22 - We hope you are doing well and staying safe. Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance, we're certainly happy to help out. We checked out the instructions and we recommend making sure that the clock display is enabled. We also suggest resetting the electronics by unplugging the range for 30 seconds then plugging back in. The correct steps for setting the clock can be found on page 11 of the Use and Care manual. Here is a digital link to the manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-80764-5.PDF We hope this helps out. Stay safe. Jonathon@GEA

What is the distance of the stove from the back wall? Our stove sits  3-4 inches away from the wall. The installer delivery person said that was as close to the wall as he could get. Is this correct?

Asked by: Joc123
Hello Joc123 - Thanks for reaching out to us, and we apologize for our delayed response. Please see the diagram on page 1 of the Quick Specs: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=JBS86SPSS_20.pdf. This will show you that if your outlet is within the recommended outlet location space it will allow the range to be installed directly against wall. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

Steam clean? Is plumbing required or can you fill a tank as needed?

Asked by: wwMo
Hi wwMo, Thank you for connecting with us, this is a great range with so many awesome features! When using the steam clean feature for this oven, no plumbing is needed. To use the steam clean feature you simply wipe off the grease and soil from the inside of the oven as best as you can. Then, you will pour one cup of water inside the oven cavity and press the "Steam Clean" feature on the touch pad. We will post the Use and Care manual to this range below so you are able to check out some of the other great features if you wish! https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-80764-5.PDF We appreciate you taking the time to ask this question! If you have any additional questions regarding this unit, feel free to reach out to us again. We are always happy to help! Drew@GEA
