Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). Any suggestions about where to store cold cuts and cheese? There does not seem to be a separate compartment.

can you change the way the door swings to open on the right?

I am having problems with the vegetable drawer only. It freezes the produce. I have tried to set the overall temperature lower and it did not help. Please tell me what to do.

Here are things to do to see if this will correct the problem. Move the food away from the air vent. The food may be too close to the air vent that sits in the back of the vegetable drawer. You may want to Move the refrigerator control to a warmer temperature setting one increment at a time. This may take a few hours to stabilize. These are found in our troubleshooting tips section of our use and care manual. Is there a video to show how to adjust the internal controls of this model? Should the knob or the light indicator be on the setting desired (Cold, colder, coldest)? waited 24 hours and food not very cold and freezer not freezing.

We are happy to offer you some guidance in this! While we do not currently have a video tutorial on adjusting the internal temperatures for this model, you can find instructions at the top of page 7 of your Use and Care Manual, linked below, where it says "GBE21D Internal Control". Does the freezer door open from left-to-right (as pictured) or does it open out (as in a drawer)? Can it be adjusted to open like a drawer?

Hi JonathanBG, great question! This model's freezer door opens left-to-right, as pictured. It cannot be adjusted to open like a drawer. However, I recommend checking out model GDE21ESKSS. It is very similar in size, capacity, and features, but the freezer opens as a drawer. I hope this helps! Dallas@GEA

how do I reset the ice maker it just stopped working

Could you install 2 refrigerators side by side?

Hello AAOFreeze! Thanks for your question. You can install two refrigerators side by side as long as they still have the proper air clearances they need. This unit requires air clearances of 1/8" on both sides of the unit, 1" on the top and 2" on the back of the unit. We hope this helps! Emily@GEA
