Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

how many ice cubes does this make in an hour?

Asked by: Love Ice and Need It
Hi there, This is a great question and we are happy you have reached out to us about the ice production for this side by side refrigerator! A regular "crescent-shaped cube" icemaker like this one produces about 7 cubes of ice every 70-80 minutes, which is about .21 lbs of ice using about 4 ounces of water. So, this model will make about 6-7 ice cubes an hour and roughly 4 lbs of ice per day. We want to thank you for being a part of our GEA family and we hope this has helped. Have a great day! Drew@GEA

Asked by: sincla1
Hello sincla1, Thank you for choosing GE Appliances for your home. We are happy to help with your freezer light bulb question. The light bulb is located above the light shield right above the top freezer shelf. We have attached a diagram to show where the bulb in located from our GEA parts website. Please see below. We have listed the steps on how to remove it also. 1. Unplug the refrigerator. 2. Remove the shelf just above the light shield. (The shelf will be easier to remove if it is emptied first.) Remove the screw at the top of the light shield. 3. To remove the light shield, press in on the sides, and lift up and out. 4. Replace the bulb with an appliance bulb of the same or lower wattage, and reinstall the light shield. When reinstalling the light shield, make sure the top tabs snap securely into place. Replace the screw. 5. Reinstall the shelf and plug the refrigerator back in. https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/ModelSectionParts/GSS23GSKRCSS/3/0/0/0/FREEZER_SECTION Reach out to us again soon. Del@GEA

My space is 69.5in in height. Will this fit?

Asked by: markscott
Hi there markscott, Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us with this, we are happy to check on this for you! This model has an overall height of 69-1/2". When installing a refrigerator we recommend having two inches from the back of the unit to the wall, half an inch on the sides, and an inch from the top of the unit to the nearest cabinetry. So in order for this unit to fit we recommend a cut out space of 70 1/2 H x 33 1/4 W x 37 1/4 D. If you have any questions or would like any suggestions feel free to reach out to us again! Drew@GEA

Our ice maker quit making ice after we lost electricity and had a snow storm. The water from the dispenser still works fine. Is there a reset button anywhere for the ice machine???

Asked by: cankay
Hi there cankey, We are so glad to hear you are okay after those awful storms! We hope the worst is behind us and are continually thinking of you. We are sorry to hear this has effected your ice maker and are happy to check this for you. We have a few troubleshooting tips you might try. The first thing we recommend is to flip the breaker to your unit and waiting a minute before flipping it back. We also recommend disconnecting the unit from power and wait for thirty seconds to reconnect. Another tip is to make sure that the freezer side of the refrigerator is set to a cold enough setting, try resetting it to a colder setting. Ensure that the ice maker is not clogged. If you were out of power for a while, some of the cubes might have melted and when they started making them again they became clogged. If none of these tips work, you might need to schedule to have one of our service technicians come and diagnose the problem! You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm If you have any additional questions we are always here to help and would like to thank you for being part of our wonderful GEA family! I want to install a large shelf in the door above the line indicated...for this. Good idea?

Asked by: Beverly Blow
Hello Beverly Blow - It's so nice to hear from you. Thanks for reaching out and getting in touch with us. We definitely are happy to help clarify that for you. This is a beautiful refrigerator with a lot of space and organization to match. However, we would not recommend adding any shelves that does not come with the refrigerator already. This can cause improper airflow; it can also be incompatible and not fit inside. We hope this doesn't cause to much inconvenience. Thank you so much for being a part of the GEA family. We are always here for any questions. Jonathon@GEA

Water is dispensing on its own leaving my floors wet. The techs have already replaced, diodes, water valve, motherboard, freezer door and most recently the ice maker. Does any one know what else we could try or what might be causing this problem?

Asked by: Vic07
Hi Vic07, Thank you for reaching out and we're sorry to hear you're having an issue. If the cradle is stuck, it will require service. To stop the flow immediately, just open the freezer door. As a temporary measure, either unplug the refrigerator or remove the freezer hinge cover and unplug dispenser wire harness (may be 1 or 2 plugs to disconnect) at the top freezer door hinge. Unplug the refrigerator first. On some models the wires are behind the grille near the water line - simply Unplug the refrigerator and disconnect the wires We hope this helps! Dom@GEA
