Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

Can this model be converted to LP ? Is that kit included?

Asked by: Itdoesntlikemynicknames
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, these are great questions! We recommend a qualified installer or servicer convert the gas dryer to the proper gas supply needed. The conversion must be in accordance with the our instructions and all codes and requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. Gas dryers are factory-equipped for natural gas. This gas dryers can be converted for Liquid Propane (LP) gas, which requires an optional conversion kit. The conversion instructions are included with the LP kit, which is purchased separately here: https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/spec/WE25M73. The optional LP conversion kit contains all necessary parts and the installation instructions needed to properly convert the dryer. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

Why did my washer activate by itself?  It made noise for about 5 minutes. I could open the lids and there was no motion and no water.  Just the sound of a motor running.

Asked by: George And B
Hi! We appreciate you reaching out to us with your question, and we are happy to help. We recommend resetting your unit by disconnecting power from your unit for 2-3 minutes and then reconnecting. This should revert your unit back to normal operating function. We apologize that you are experiencing this with your unit. Please feel free to reach back out to us with any additional questions you may have. We hope this helps. - Adrian@GEA

I'm reading that there is no way to know when the dryer is done (or any notification of such) but just wanted to see if someone from the manufacturer can confirm this? Thanks.

Asked by: SFlint
Hello! Thank you for your interest in GE Appliances. We are happy to provide guidance. There is a beeping noise at the end of the cycle to indicate the dryer is finished drying. Thank you for checking with us. We hope this helps. - Adrian@GEA

Is there a way to keep the dryer door open (when moving items from washer to dryer)? Or is the door supposed to stay open (obviously NOT while in use)?

Asked by: SFlint
Hello! Thank you for choosing GE Appliances for your home. We are happy to help. The door on this model GUD24GSSMWW washer/dryer may swing into the closed position on its own if the unit is not level or the floor is slanted in one direction. There is not a way to prevent this from occurring besides leveling the unit. Thank you for checking with us. We hope this helps. - Adrian@GEA

What is the starting wattage used for the washer and the dryer components for this gas appliance?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hi Anonymous, Thank you for contacting us here at GEA. We are always happy to help! The starting wattage for the gas appliance is 120 x 15 or 20. 120 x15 = 1,800 and 120 x 20 = 2,400. You can use the minimum amp breaker or fuse size recommended for their appliance as a guide. Hope this helps! Have a great day! Del@GEA

Does the dryer has a fan? what is the fan rate?

Asked by: Jennifer13628
Hi Jennifer13628, Thank you for reaching out. We're happy to help. This dryer has a blower to blow hot air into the unit. The hot air is then vented externally out of he unit. We do not have a "blower rate" for our dryers. If you have further questions about the dryer, please contact us via chat or email. https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/contact-others.htm Hope this helps. Jess@GEA

We recently purchased this unit and with 2 babies we do at least one load a day but the clothes keep coming out still dirty with spit up and the like & the washer doesn't seem to ever fill with water? I usually use the normal or heavy cycle.

Asked by: Munoz17
Hi Munoz17, thanks for reaching out to us. I'm sorry for the delay and that you're experiencing this. This unit washes with Adaptive Fill technology that fills the washer using sensors based on how much laundry is in the basket. I recommend ensuring the right amount of detergent is being used according to the manufacturer's directions, as well as pretreating any stains. Additionally, the Presoak option may be useful for tough stains or heavy soils. I hope this helps. Dallas@GEA

Is there a punch out for the vent on the right side of this appliance and if so, how far is the center of the hole from the rear edge of the dryer and how far is the center of the hole from the ground.  Is the puch out 4” in diameter?

Asked by: Heyjude 52
Hello Heyjude 52. Thank you for reaching out! This is a great question that we're happy to assist you with. This unitized washer/dryer can not be vented out the side. If you have any other questions, you can reach out to us via e-mail through the Contact Us page on our website and a member of our team will be glad to help. We're wishing you the best! - Guy@GEA
