Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

Dryer is not getting hot?  What could be wrong?

Asked by: Chris 47
Hi Chris 47, Thank you choosing GE Appliances for your home. We are sorry to hear you are having an issue. We are happy to help you with your dryer question. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We recommend you check the fuse. If the fuse is blown/circuit breaker is tripped, the dryer may tumble but not heat. Check the fuse/circuit breaker box and replace both fuses or reset both breakers. Your dryer may also tumble if only one fuse is blown or one breaker tripped. Some electric dryers use 2 fuses/breakers, make sure both are operating. Also make sure heat temperature is selected. If the fuse does not help correct the problem, we recommend scheduling a service appointment with an authorized GE Appliance technician who can accurately diagnose and repair your dryer. You can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-432-2737, Mon-Fri 7 am – 10 pm ET, Sat-Sun 8 am – 6 pm ET or schedule online anytime at: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm We look forward to hearing from you soon. Does this dryer have a light inside?

Asked by: Queenb2
No, there is no light inside the drum of this model of dryer. However, there is a "knock out" piece on the interior panel where the light socket is supposed to go. Whether or not there is a wiring harness behind that panel in order to easily install a light socket, is something only someone who has opened the external panels can answer.

My dryer won't start. A technician came and said it was the board but I have looked for that part and I don't see it in the parts list.

Asked by: DSJQ
Hello DSJQ - Thanks for reaching out to us, and we apologize for our delayed response. We are so sorry to hear that your dryer won't start and understand how frustrating this must be. We checked using your email address and could find no record of a service call with us. We also don't see a part identified as a "board" in the parts breakdown for this model. Our recommendation would be for you to contact the service company that provided the diagnosis and ask for the part number needed to repair the dryer. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

Does anyone have tips on why my washer is not filling up properly? The water is not going in the drum with the clothes starts; seemingly in between or something because when I drain/spin I see the water coming out as if it was filled. Thanks for your help

Asked by: Chloe10
Hello, Chole10, We appreciate you reaching out to us. Thank you for choosing GE Appliances for your home. We are more than happy to help. On this high-efficiency model it is normal to not see as much water as you might be used to. This is due to the HE performance not needing as much water to effectively clean clothes. Just to be on the safe side of things, we recommend taking a look at page 15 of the Use and Care manual to go over what the fill level should be. Here is a link to a digital version of the manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-3000255.pdf We hope this helps out a little. Let us know if you have any other questions. Jonathon@GEA

Asked by: mdilisi
Hi, mdilisi, Thank you so much for reaching out to us and for being apart of the GE Appliances family. We really appreciate the chance to help out. Yes, on this model you would add fabric softener into the dispenser located on top of the agitator. No need to dilute it either. We recommend checking out page 14 of the Use and Care manual for step-by-step instructions. Here is a link to a digital version of the manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-3000255.pdf Stay safe.
