Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

Is it possible to put water in the tub first, and then add items to soak for awhile?  I use my washer often to wet-finish hand-woven woolens that are too large for the sink and this is what you do.  water, item, soak, spin. no agitation.

Asked by: Sara1788
Hi, Sara1788 We appreciate you reaching out to us. Thank you for being apart of the GE Appliances family. We are more than happy to help out. This washer comes equipped with Auto Soak feature that would allow you to soak items up to 2 hours. We would recommend making sure to remove the items after the timer as the washer would continue a normal cycle afterwards. We hope this helps out. Stay safe out there. Jonathon@GEA

I have a brand new washer . Everything seems to be fine except the fabric softener does not dispense .   Do I need a service call already or is there something I can do here ?  Thanks

Asked by: Easyev
Hi Easyev, thanks for checking with us! We're sorry to hear your fabric softener is not dispensing. Are you selecting the Deep Rinse option when adding fabric softener? If not, it may not dispense properly. If you are already selecting Deep Rinse and the softener does not dispense from the fabric softener compartment with the door completely closed, we recommend taking advantage of your warranty by scheduling a service appointment with one of our technicians. If needed, you can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm We hope this helps! -Megan@GEA

Bulky items do not wring water out completely. I use the bulky setting but they still come out dripping wet.

Asked by: Anonymous
Hello, Anonymous - Thanks so much for reaching out and letting us know. We are more than happy to help. We also want to extend an apology for our late response. There could be several reasons those clothes are still coming out really wet. We recommend making sure you are selecting a spin cycle along with the Bulky option. We also recommend making sure that the load is balanced properly, then running Drain and Spin. Here is a link to a helpful support article with some additional information. https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=19289 We hope this helps out! Stay safe! Can I add water to a small load?

Asked by: Jb2246
Hi Jb2246, Thank you for reaching out to us and for your interest in GE Appliances. We apologize for our delay responding and are happy to help. If the lid is closed before the maximum level in the tub is reached, additional water can be dispensed by opening the lid again. We hope this helps! Dom@GEA

I've noticed that after a wash cycle, water will continue to drip in the tub. My washer is about 2 years old.

Asked by: kiki43
Hi kiki43, Thank you for reaching out. We're sorry to hear that your washer continues to drip after the wash cycle. If the washer fills or drips water in to the tub even when it is not turned on, the water valve on the back of your washer may have failed. This will require service by a qualified technician. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm Hope this helps. Jess@GEA
