Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

I've noticed that after a wash cycle, water will continue to drip in the tub. My washer is about 2 years old.

Asked by: kiki43
Hi kiki43, Thank you for reaching out. We're sorry to hear that your washer continues to drip after the wash cycle. If the washer fills or drips water in to the tub even when it is not turned on, the water valve on the back of your washer may have failed. This will require service by a qualified technician. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm Hope this helps. Jess@GEA

Asked by: Lori A
Hi Lori A Thank you for reaching out to us and choosing GE Appliances for your home. We apologize for our delay responding and to hear you are having an issue. We are happy to help. We recommend turning off the water source and remove the water connection hoses from the upper back of the washer and the water faucets. Clean both the hose screens, and the screens in the machine using a brush or a toothpick. Reconnect the hoses and turn the water back on. Check to ensure there are no leaks at the connection. Can a queen size comforter be washed in this machine? Thank you

Asked by: JJ03
Hello JJ03, We appreciate you reaching out to us. This is an excellent question and we'll be happy to help. Most comforters will wash properly in our washers as long as the comforter fits below the balance ring of the washer tub and is not stuffed in the tub tightly. To wash your comforter, select the Bulky Items cycle. We hope you find this useful! Guy@GEA

Does this machine allow one to pause the fill up and change the water temperature so that I can get a temperature that is somewhere between two settings? Does this machine allow one to change the temperature mid-way for both the wash and rinse fill ups?

Asked by: suzie m
Hello Suzie m - Thank you for your question; we are glad to assist! The wash water temperature can be changed on this model while it is filling. This model does have a Warm Rinse option, and it is only a singular temperature; adjusting temperature in rinse is limited to turning the Warm Rinse option on / off. We hope this information is helpful. Thank you for choosing GE Appliances!

Machine not even year old. Select "bulky items". Does not fill fully. Deep fill light is on, press it and does nothing. Maybe I'm not doing something correctly?

Asked by: arbrey
Hi Arbrey - Thanks for reaching out to us and for choosing GE! Bulky Items cycle automatically provides a Deep Fill/max fill wash water level and Deep Fill rinse to wash bulky items. Deep Fill option cannot be used with this cycle to add more water. Current GE washer models meet or exceed the latest energy and water efficiency requirements. Therefore, you may notice that your washer fills with less water than your prior model did. This is normal. GE Appliances washers are designed for and are thoroughly tested using modern water levels and will provide the exceptional cleaning. Can you please explain the "causal" cycle? What kind of agitation does it have (normal or slower like on the delicates) etc.

Asked by: suzie m
Hi suzie m - Casuals cycle has a shorter spin time compared to other cycles and recommended for casual clothes or lightly soiled office wear. The variable speed motor adjusts the agitation and spin speeds throughout the cycle based on the load size and the amount of torque (resistance) it gets from the load. There is no "fixed" speed for slow or fast speeds. Delicates utilizes a unique “tri-pulse” extra gentle agitate profile and a low spin speed to provide special care to delicate fabrics. can you only press deep fill once to get 3 extra gallons, or can you keep pressing it to get 3 gallons more with each press?

Asked by: suzie m
Hi suzie m - Thanks for choosing GE! Press the Deep Fill button once before starting the cycle to add 3 gallons of water to the wash load. The Deep Fill button can also be pressed after the washer has completed filling and is in the wash phase if additional water (3 gallons) is desired. Holding the Deep Fill button for 3 seconds will provide the deepest (approx. 26 gallons) fill level possible. We suggest viewing page 12 of the Use and Care Manual at this link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90586-1.pdf Also, take a look at the following link- TOP LOAD WASHERS - DEEP FILL: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=22718 Keep in touch!

Why doesn’t the fabric softener dispenser stay full during washing

Asked by: Jackwagon1964
Hi Jackwagon1964 - Thanks for reaching out to us and for choosing GE Model # GTW685BSLWS! Liquid fabric softener/conditioner should be added to the left side of the dispenser drawer. Follow the liquid fabric softener/ conditioner manufacturer’s recommendations for the correct amount of softener/conditioner, based on load size, taking care to add softener/conditioner to the left compartment. Do not overfill or dilute softener/conditioner as this can result in additive being dispensed prematurely in the wash cycle. Your option selections will determine when liquid fabric softener/conditioner is automatically dispensed at its optimal time in the rinse cycle. Also, be certain to select the Deep Rinse option when using a fabric softener so that it is properly dispensed. Here's the link to the Use and Care Manual for guidance: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90586-1.pdf We hope this is helpful. How does washer select load size.\Read somewhere that it isn't by weight. so what and how does it determine load size?

Asked by: arbrey
Hello Arbrey - This washer model has the Adaptive Fill feature. It uses load sensing and adaptive water fill to provide just the right amount of water for best performance and low water usage. The wash basket will turn briefly and assess the weight of the load. It will also do this after the load is saturated with water to assess how absorbent the load is. With the load weight and load type we can apply the proper amount of water to wash the load. We hope this information is helpful. Thanks for checking.

How much time for a normal wash load

Asked by: jlw12
Hello Jlw12. The approximate cycle time without options is 40-42 minutes. The washer will adapt the run time within the cycle and from load to load, so the actual time could be several minutes more or less. Thanks for checking.
