Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). I have had this washer for a year and service has been out 4 times at least my clothes are not coming clean I put a fruit stain on my pants and it did not come off washed twice no change washed it with my hands came rite out I am frustrated HELP PLEASE

How do I get deep fill to work. There is no indication that it is engaged, nothing lights up and it beeps as if it is not an option.

Hello! Thank you for choosing GE Appliances for your home. We are sorry you're experiencing this. We are more than happy to provide guidance. You will select the Deep Fill feature for loads where extra water is needed. The Deep Fill feature is recommended for special case loads only, not for typical use. Press and release the Deep Fill button once before starting the cycle to add 3 addition gallons of water to the wash load. Holding the Deep Fill button for 3 seconds will provide the deepest fill level possible; this will increase cycle time due to the additional time it takes to fill the washer. How do you keep your clothes from tieing in knots with this washer?

Hi Shirley Skidmore, Thank you for reaching out and choosing GE Appliances. Tangled, twisted or knotted clothes are usually the result of wash loads that were not properly sorted. Here are some tips to help you prevent clothing from knotting and twisting: Avoid mixing heavy items with light items. Avoid putting too many or too few items in the washer. Make sure you set the proper water level for the size load you are doing. Never wrap the clothes around the agitator. Be sure your wash water is not too hot for the fabric. We hope this helps! Does this washing machine allow me to add a garment after the cycle has started without having to start from the beginning again?

Yes, this washer can be paused during the wash cycle at which point you can add or remove garments from the load. Just press start to continue the cycle from where it previously was. The water level in the cycle seems very low for a big load. Is this normal ? The clothes were barley covered with water and the top of the clothes never got agitated to the bottom. Thanks

The Department of Energy (DOE) sets standards for washer water usage. Over the years, the amount of allowable water usage has been reduced. With washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Most washers are now programmed with load sensing to adjust water levels based on the cycle and load size, so the amount of water used will vary. My machine is 1 day old. I was able to do my first 2 washes then every time after I start a new wash, it'll fill then after filling up the wash automatically cancels. How can this be fixed???

Hi DawnC3171, Good afternoon and congratulations on your new washer! We're sorry to hear that the washer stops after filling with water, we are here to help. If the washer stops after filling, check the house circuit breaker/fuse as well as the outlet and plug. Washers should be plugged into their own separate outlet. If it is not a power supply issue, check the following: Newer top-load washers are designed to operate much quieter than a typical washer. To test to see if it is agitating: Open the lid and place a new article of clothing in the washer and note its position. Close the lid. Let the washer run for a minute or two and open the lid. If the agitator is working properly, the article of clothing should have moved around in the wash. If the washer is not agitating, you may need to reset your washer motor . If your washer senses a power spike, unbalanced load, or disruption in power it will send a fault code to your motor and may require the motor to be reset: Unplug the washer for 1 minute from the electrical outlet. Plug the washer back in and lift and lower the lid 6 times within a 12 second period. You have 30 seconds to start lifting and lowering the lid. The lid must be raised a minimum of 2” ensure the magnetic connection on the lid is interrupted. Make sure you close the lid completely each time. The motor has now been reset and is ready for you to start a cycle. We hope this helps! Dom@GEA
