Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

How many pounds per hour can this unit wash?

Asked by: DAWCAJ
Hello! Thanks for reaching out to us, this is a great question. Pounds (lbs) is no longer used as a rating system for washer capacity. There was no industry standard that would allow exact comparisons. A washer is not limited in practical terms by the pounds or weight of clothes it can wash. It is limited by the volume of clothes that can be put in the machine. Example: A down comforter can fill the entire machine but weigh very little, while blue jeans are heavy but is typically a smaller load. This model has a 2.3 cubic foot capacity washer. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

Why is the washer so loud on wash cycle?

Asked by: Delmage
Hello Delmage, This is a great question and we are happy to help. Thank you for reaching out to us here at GEA. During the wash cycle, the agitator rotates in two directions. This makes an electric pulsing, grinding, or buzzing noise. Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. If you feel there is some additional loudness due to an issue, service is recommended. You can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-432-2737, Mon-Fri 7 am – 10 pm ET, Sat-Sun 8 am – 6 pm ET or schedule online anytime at: http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm Let us know if you require any additional assistance. How many prongs are on the electric plug, 3 or 4?

Asked by: Gawen
HI Gawen, Thank you for your question. Since it is not possible to anticipate the final destination of a washer/dryer as it leaves the assembly line and install the proper cord, the local dealer usually provides the power cord. The cord type will vary according to the home's wiring (ex. 3-wire connection vs 4-wire connection). Steven@GEA

Is this stackable washed / dryer combo utilizing one single power cord for electricity to both units? Mother moving into assisted living and utility space has one power outlet for a stackable unit.

Asked by: Anonymous
Hi Anonymous, Thank you for reaching out to us and for your interest in GE Appliances. We are happy to help with your power cord question. There is only one power cord required for this unitized washer/dryer. It will require 30 amps and 120/240V or 120/208V; 60Hz. We hope this helps! Please let us know if you require any additional assistance. Del@GEA

Are the knobs for the washer and dryer supposed to move once each are started? For instance, for the washer, if I select the heavy setting (for colors), will the knob move or stay stationary as the washing cycle progresses? The same question for the dryer

Asked by: Nick41523
Hi Nick41523, We thank you for being apart of our GEA family. We are happy to assist you with your knob selector question. The knobs will not move on this washer and dryer. The cycle selector knob does not rotate during the operation of the washer or dryer per our use and care manual. This information is found on page 7. We hope this helps. Let us know if you have any additional questions. Del@GEA
