Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise. Lawn equipment, seasonal items, and special order merchandise are excluded from the lifetime reinstatement benefit. See a store associate for complete details.

My top load washer was recently purchased and has been working great until today.  The agitator isn’t moving and there’s a grinding sound being made instead.   It still fills, drains, and spins.

I am not sure if my washer is dispensing soap from the auto dispenser. I have had it sense July and the soap is still at the max fill line. How can check to see if the dispenser is working?

Asked by: KCarroll
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us! This is a great question! This machine is equipped with a bulk detergent reservoir that can hold approximately 75 ounces of liquid detergent for your convenience. This is enough detergent for about 50 average laundry loads, depending on what dispense amount is selected. If you have done more than about 50 loads with no change in the detergent level of your dispenser, this will require service by a qualified technician. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

How do I turn off the auto-on function when the lid is opened? When the load is finished and I open the lid, the machine display turns on, and it is very confusing. It also turns on when I open the lid to just throw things in to wash at a later time.

hello my Softner is not dispensing

Asked by: leash15
Hi there, Thank you for reaching out to us, we are happy to help! We are sorry to hear that your softener is not dispensing, we understand how this can be inconvenient. A possible cause of this can be that the Wash water is too cold or detergent packet type/quantity is incorrect. We recommend the use of High Efficiency laundry packs such as Tide PODS™ or Gain Flings™. When using delicates cycle, place detergent pack in the bottom of the basket as this will help break down the pack with the gentler agitation. Select a warmer wash temperature. if possible, to improve dissolving of detergent packets. Additionally, Liquid fabric softener/conditioner should be added to the small drawer in the rear of the washer opening. Follow the liquid fabric softener/conditioner manufacturer’s recommendations for the correct amount of softener/conditioner, based on the load size. You can find more on Liquid Fabric Softener/Conditioner Dispenser on the top of page 16 in the user's manual. We have posted the link below for you convenience. https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-3000187-2.pdf We hope this helps, have a great day! -Garrett@GEA

I bought this washer in February and it has worked perfectly until today. I have tried to change the knob to the correct load and hit start but it will not change loads or come on. What can I do

Asked by: Acarson25
Hi there! Thank you for choosing GE Appliances for your home. We are so sorry that you are experiencing this with your washer, and we understand the inconvenience this causes. We are happy to help. We recommend resetting your washer by disconnecting power from the unit for 2-3 minutes and reconnecting. This should revert your washer back to normal operating function. If the reset does not change the status of your unit, this will require service by a qualified technician. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliances technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at the link below. Since your appliance is under a year old, you are still under warranty and this service trip will be free of charge if needed. http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm We appreciate you checking with us, and we hope this helps! - Adrian@GEA

How do you use the deep fill? When I touch it, nothing happens.

Asked by: AMFR
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, this is a great question! Select the Deep Fill feature for loads where extra water is desired. The Deep Fill feature is recommended for special case loads only, not for typical use. Press and release the Deep Fill button once before starting the cycle to add 3 addition gallons of water to the wash load. Holding the Deep Fill button for 3 seconds will provide the deepest fill level possible; this will increase cycle time due to the additional time it takes to fill the washer. To cancel the option if desired, press the Deep Fill button again. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA
