Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

When the unit is unit is in dehumidifier mode, does the exhaust need to be vented?

Asked by: MGreenFL
Good morning MGreenFL, Thank you for connecting with us and your question about this portable air conditioner! When using the dehumidifier mode with this model, you will need to have it vented. When the unit is dehumidifying, the compressor is generating heat as it operates. In order to avoid having the compressor overheat, air is drawn by the compressor at a rapid rate and exhausted from the unit. The warm air will stop shortly after the unit has reached the desired humidity. Thank you again and if you have any additional questions feel free to reach out to us again, have a great day! Drew@GEA

i'm trying to instal this in a sliding window. the how is the hose supposed to lock to the window sealing plate? there is no hardware. it says to turn to lock/unlock, but the size of the hole is the same size at the as the hose adapter. it can't turn

Asked by: riotreed
Hi riotreed! Thanks for your question. We're sorry that you're having issues installing the exhaust hose to your unit. We see how this can be frustrating. You can attach it by screwing the hose counterclockwise into the exhaust port on the back of the Air Conditioner. If you have any further issues, please feel free to reach out to us at: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/contact.htm Hope this helps! Emily@GEA

I have a similar unit (APCA09YZBW). I noticed that when the room reaches the desired temperature, both the compressor and fan turn off, instead of leaving just the fan running. Is this normal operation for these units?

Asked by: Dave1999
Hi Dave1999 - Thank you for reaching out to us. This is a great question. It is normal for the fan to cycle off with the compressor on this model. Have a great day! Vikki@GEA

Asked by: 44Paul
Hello 44Paul - Thank you for your question; we are glad to assist. The starting wattage is about 2x to 3x the running wattage. We hope this helps. Thanks for checking! Olga@GEA

need to know thw deminsions of the exhaust hose

Asked by: donndi
Hi donndi. I checked the product description above. The length is 5 feet, and about 3 to 4 inches in diameter. Suggest to be careful with the hose it seems delicate we try to keep it not to extended, and it is better if you can place the machine to right, that helps with the hose as the hose is connected on the left side (if you are looking from the front, or if you look at the back it is on the left of the machine). Hope this helps.
