ELIGIBILITY: The "Summer Discover Your Leasing Power" Sweepstakes (herein referred to as the "Sweepstakes") is open solely to: (i) legal United States residents, (ii) that reside in the forty-six (46) United States (excluding Minnesota, Alaska, Hawaii and Wisconsin) and the District of Columbia, (iii) who are eighteen (18) years of age or older (exceptions-must be 19 years of age or older for those that reside in the states of Alabama and Nebraska) as of the date of entry, and (iv) that resides within a participating Aaron's retail store location trade area radius (approximately 25 miles from each store). Officers, directors, representatives and employees of Aaron's LLC (the "Sponsor"), and any of their respective parent companies, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, dealers, franchisees, franchisors, licensees, distributors, suppliers, participating retailers, advertising / promotion / judging agencies, persons engaged in the development, production or distribution of materials for this Sweepstakes, Compliance Sweepstakes Services ("the Administrator") (collectively, the "Released Parties") and the immediate family members (defined as spouse, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, siblings, - whether biological, adopted, step or in-law) of such individuals, or persons living in the same household as such individuals (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor's and Administrator's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Void in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, U.S. Military installations in foreign countries, and where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law.
HOW TO ENTER: The Sweepstakes begins at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on August 12, 2021 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on August 31, 2021 (otherwise known as the "Entry Period"). An individual will be deemed a Participant ("Participant") in the Sweepstakes if they are eligible and enter the Sweepstakes via any of the following two (2) entry methods: 1) To enter the Sweepstakes on-line: Participants will be automatically entered during the Entry Period by visiting www.apply.aarons.com and fully completing and submitting an application to discover their Leasing Power (no purchase is necessary). There is also a QR code provided in advertisements which will provide direct access to the apply.aarons.com platform to complete the Leasing Power application. If an application to discover Leasing Power has been submitted in the 60 days prior to August 12, 2021, the platform will not process a new application and no automatic entry will be received. Instead, such Participants will need to enter via mail as set forth below. Each qualified Leasing Power application will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes; or, 2) To enter by mail, print the following information by hand on a 3"x 5" card: "Summer Discover Your Leasing Power" Sweepstakes entry, your first and last name, date of birth, street address, city, state, zip code, day and evening telephone numbers, and e-mail address. Each entry must have a complete return address (including Participant's first and last name) on the outside of the envelope. Mail the card in a standard business-size #10 envelope to: CSS /"Summer Discover Your Leasing Power" Sweepstakes, 326 Thornell Road CBX #830, Pittsford, NY 14534. The mail-in entry will need to be postmarked between August 12, 2021 and August 31, 2021, and must be received by September 4, 2021. Each valid mail entry will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes.
All applications generating an automatic entry through the apply.aarons.com platform must be received during the Entry Period. The official clock for the Sweepstakes is the messaging system of the Sponsor. By entering, you represent that you are the owner of (or have permission to use) the device you use to participate. Participant agrees that he/she is solely responsible for all message and data charges incurred while using the apply.aarons.com platform to submit the Leasing Power application.
Bonus Entry: There will be a bonus entry opportunity for any valid Sweepstakes entry received, or postmarked, during Entry Period. A Participant that completed the leasing power application can receive one (1) bonus entry by signing up to receive Aaron's SMS texting notifications (information regarding sales and promotions). By signing up to receive text notifications, the Participant represents that he/she is the owner of (or have permission to use) the mobile telephone number and device used to participate. Participant also agrees to receive text messages and understands he/she is solely responsible for all message and data charges incurred. Participant will need to provide a valid text number. Each Participant that agrees to receive Aaron's SMS notifications and provides a valid text number will receive one (1) additional entry for each valid entry submitted. Participants that completed a leasing application and do not choose to sign up to receive Aaron's SMS texting notifications, can complete a mail in entry (per aforementioned mail in process) and receive a bonus entry. Participants that entered solely by mail can receive a bonus entry by following the aforementioned mail-in entry submission process and handwriting the words "Bonus Entry" on the bottom left hand side of the front of the envelope if he/she would like to receive a bonus entry.
By entering the Sweepstakes, Participant consents for the Sponsor to obtain, use, and transfer his/her name, address, phone number, and other information ("Personal Information") for the purpose of administering this Sweepstakes and such Personal Information will be kept by Sponsor for marketing purposes in accordance with its privacy policy (www.aarons.com/privacy-policy.html). The Personal Information that was provided in connection with the entry process will be used by Sponsor only and will not be sold or provided to another company. Participant authorizes the Sponsor to send marketing emails to the address entered on entry form and to receive calls at the number provided on the application/entry, regarding product offerings and promotions. Participant may opt out of receiving future marketing e-mails from Sponsor by clicking on the unsubscribe link contained in any marketing e-mail received. Participant will remain eligible for this Sweepstakes whether or not he/she opts out of receiving Sponsor marketing messages.
Limit of two (2) entries per person during the Entry Period regardless of method of entry. All required information must be completed to enter and to be eligible to win. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, incorrect, damaged, delayed, garbled, undelivered, misdirected, or postage-due registrations, entries or mail, which will be disqualified, or any unforeseen circumstances that may limit an individual's ability to participate in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void any and all entries of an entrant that submits more than the stated maximum limit of entries by using multiple/different phone numbers, identities, or any other methods, or who Sponsor believes has attempted to tamper with, influence or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of this Sweepstakes. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
WINNER SELECTION: The odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The potential Grand Prize, First Prize, Second Prize, and Third Prize winners (each a "Prize Winner") will be selected during a random drawing conducted on or about September 7, 2021, by the Administrator, an independent judging organization, whose decisions will be final and binding with respect to all aspects of the Sweepstakes. Each potential Prize Winner will be notified via telephone and/or email within five (5) days after the drawing date. If the potential Prize Winner cannot be reached, or does not reply, within three (3) days, an alternate prize winner will be selected. Within seven (7) days of such notification, the potential Prize Winner must complete an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release and IRS W9 form, to collect his/her respective prize. Return information is specified on the forms. Failure to fully complete and return the Affidavit of Eligibility and W9 form within the required time period will result in potential Prize Winner forfeiting the prize. Non-compliance with any requirement or obligation may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner, solely at the Sponsor's discretion. Sponsor will use reasonable efforts to select an alternate winner(s) but in the event one cannot be reasonably determined, such prize will not be awarded. Sponsor reserves the right to verify identification and eligibility of the potential Prize Winner before the prize will be awarded.
PRIZES: One (1) Grand Prize, one (1) First Prize, one (1) Second Prize and one (1) Third Prize will be available to be awarded. The Grand Prize Winner will receive: one (1) Envy II Sofa/Chaise, one (1) Envy II ottoman, one (1) Duncan II cocktail table, two (2) Duncan II end tables, two (2) brushed nickel table lamps, one (1) GE Top load 3.8 Washer and one (1) GE 6.2 Dryer Hisense, and one (1) 65" Samsung 4k Smart TV. The Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of the Grand Prize is $3,873.90. The First Prize winner will receive: one (1) Envy II Sofa/Chaise, one (1) Envy II ottoman, one (1) Duncan II cocktail table, two (2) Duncan II end tables and two (2) brushed nickel table lamps, with an ARV of $1,550.93. The Second Prize winner will receive: one (1) GE Top load 3.8 Washer and one (1) GE 6.2 Dryer Hisense with an ARV of $1,336.98. The Third Prize winner will receive: one (1) 65" Samsung 4k Smart TV with an ARV of $985.99. The make and model specifications for the aforementioned prize components will be determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. The total prize pool value to be awarded is $7,747.80. The manufacturers and brand owners of the prize merchandise are not sponsors of the Sweepstakes or associated with the Sweepstakes in any way.
Any prize to be awarded is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to substitute any prize (or prize component) with another prize (or prize component) of equal or greater value. There are no substitutions unless specified by the Sponsor. Any portion of the prize not accepted by the Prize Winner will be forfeited. The Prize Winner will be solely responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes (if any), and for any other fees or costs associated with the prize they receive. The stated "ARV" of the prize is based on available information provided to Sponsor, and any difference in ARV at the time of awarding will not be awarded, and the value of the prize awarded to a winner will be reported for tax purposes as required by law. Prize Winner will be required to provide Sponsor with a completed IRS Form W-9 with a valid social security number before a prize will be awarded for tax reporting purposes. An IRS Form 1099 will be issued to each Prize Winner for the total ARV of the respective prize, for the calendar year the prize was won. All properly claimed prizes will be awarded. The Administrator is not the supplier or guarantor of any prize. The Sponsor and Released Parties are not in any way responsible or liable for damages resulting from shipping and handling, loss, use or misuse of any prize awarded in this Sweepstakes.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: The Sweepstakes is offered to eligible participants as specified in these official rules, but void where prohibited or restricted by law. All participants, as a condition of participation or entering in this Sweepstakes, agree to defend, indemnify, release and hold harmless the Sponsor, The Aaron's Company, Inc., Aaron's, LLC, and their respective franchisees, franchisor, affiliates, divisions, subsidiaries, and the officers, directors, and employees of each, and the Released Parties from and against any and all liability, loss, claims, damages, injuries or actions of any kind whatsoever, without limitation, for injuries, death, damages, or losses to persons or property, as well as any claims based on publicity rights or invasion of privacy, which may be sustained in connection with: (a) accessing the Sponsor's entry application platform/rules; (b) participating in any aspect of the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, while preparing for, participating in and/or traveling to or from any prize or Sweepstakes-related activity; (c) the delivery, receipt, ownership, possession, use or misuse of any prize awarded; (d) viruses or any downloading or other problems with the Sweepstakes application; or (e) any typographical, production, printing, or other error in these Official Rules, advertisements, or the announcement of offering of any prize or Prize Winner. You accept and agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Administrator relating to your participation in this Sweepstakes, selection of winner and awarding of prizes, whose decisions are final and binding in all respects. The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (2) computer error, electronic or technical malfunctions or failures of any kind, including but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; or (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) for the Sponsor to use the winner's name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice and address (city and state) for any and all public relations, advertising and/or promotional purposes as determined by Sponsor, in all forms of media and by all manners (now and hereafter known), in perpetuity, without notice, consent, review or approval or further compensation. Sponsor makes no representations or warranties of any kind concerning the appearance, safety or performance of any prize. Prize Winner bears all liability and risk of loss or damage to his/her respective prize after it has been delivered. Sponsor will not replace any of the prize components that are lost, mutilated, or stolen. Sponsor is not responsible for events beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control that may jeopardize the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any person who tampers with, or intentionally infects with a virus, any of the networks, servers or computers that are used in this Sweepstakes. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, at any time, without notice, and award the prizes using all non-suspect eligible entries received as of or after (if applicable) this termination or suspension date in the event that, in the sole discretion of Sponsor, the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes is jeopardized. The names of individuals, groups, companies, products and services mentioned herein, and any corresponding likenesses, logos and images thereof reproduced herein, have been used for identification purposes only and may be the copyrighted properties and trademarks of their respective owners. The mention of any individual, group or company, or the inclusion of a product or service as a prize, does not imply any association with or endorsement by such individual, group or company or the manufacturer or distributor of such product or service and, except as otherwise indicated, no association or endorsement is intended or should be inferred. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and any judicial proceeding shall take place in a federal or state court in Atlanta, Georgia; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event legal fees; and (3) under no circumstances may entrant obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Georgia without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Georgia or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Georgia. To the extent there is a conflict between Official Rules appearing any other location and any terms of use or other agreements posted on the Sponsor's rules page, these are the Official Rules to be abided by.

Requests that are incomplete or received after October 30, 2021 will not be acknowledged or returned.
