Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

My washer will fill and wash the clothes and then stop------ why?????

Asked by: Anonymous
Hi Anonymous, Thank you for reaching out to us and for your interest in GE Appliances. We apologize for our delay responding and are happy to help. We recommend to wait for a few minutes, since pauses of up to three minutes may occur between cycles as the timer advances in steps. For example, there may be a 3-minute delay at the end of agitation and prior to the washer pumping out the water. For more information follow the link below to an article on the GE Appliance's website: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=23082 We hope this helps Dom@GEA

where do you place the fabric softener in the unitized washer/dryer

Asked by: Biscuiter
Hi Biscuiter, thanks for checking with us! This model does not have a fabric softener dispenser, and the fabric softener is just added to the main compartment like detergent. Use the Deep Rinse option when using fabric softener on the Rinse Option control. You will manually add diluted fabric softener during the rinse cycle or use a fabric softener ball when using Deep Rinse. We hope this helps! -Megan@GEA

On this stacked unit the dryer makes a repetitive noise about every 1 second. It can start of annoyingly loud but as the clothes drys it lessens. I think the clothes drop during the drum rotation making the noise. Any ideas to silence this? I sleep near.

Asked by: Marty1127
Hi Marty1127, Thank you for reaching out to us and choosing GE Appliances for your home. We apologize for our delay responding and to hear you are having an issue. We are happy to help. Some noise is normal, the dryer may be sitting unevenly. We recommend moving the dryer to an even floor space, or adjust leveling legs as necessary until even. We hope this helps! Dom@GEA

Asked by: jimc123
Hi jimc123 - Thanks for reaching out to us and for your patience. We truly appreciate you choosing this unitized washer and dryer for your home and are happy to answer this for you! A proper drain hose will be supplied with your unit, and its length is approximately 70". What is difference between GUD27ESSM1WW and GUD27ESSMWW.

Asked by: Dave66VA
Hi Dave66VA! Thank you for reaching out and for choosing GE Appliances for your home. We're happy to help. GUD27ESSMWW and GUD27ESSM1WW are actually the same model. The extra number you see in GUD27ESSM1WW is an engineering code. When the appliance is manufactured, extra letters or numbers are placed on the appliance rating plate and product registration card. They are used to identify manufacturing specific data when the appliance is made. Should service or parts be needed, these extra letters/numbers are used as identifiers for the specific appliance. We hope this helps and hope you're enjoying your laundry center! - Liz@GEA

Is there a way to turn the Percision fill off?  Thé machine is not filling up water to the correct level.

Asked by: MollyA
Hi MollyA, we're glad you reached out. We're sorry your precise fill isn't working as it should. We know this is frustrating and we're happy to help. If you don't want to use your precise fill, you can manually select the water level by selecting Small through Super. We suggest making sure you are following the proper loading instructions and keeping the lid closed during the wash cycle. Precise Fill senses the load during the water filling portion of the cycle to determine how much water is needed. For more information on how to properly use the precise fill, please click here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16938 If this is unhelpful, we suggest disconnecting power to your unit for 2-3 minutes to reset the controls. We hope this is useful information! Hello. I just purchased and installed the GUD27GESNWW. The unit is quite nice, but find that the dryer noisy. Is it normal for this dryer to make a constant swishing noise with ever turn of the drum? Do I need to call for service?

Asked by: JMP58
Hi JMP58, thanks for reaching out! We're sorry to hear that you are concerned about a sound in your dryer. Some normal dryer noises are a squeak when the unit is started is normal (the sound should go away after the first few seconds of operation) and the sound of the drum as it turns. Some abnormal sounds are thumping sounds, humming sounds, or a squeak that develops after unit has heated up, but unit does not squeak when cool. Additionally, squeaking that is very short and repeats every few seconds (a chirping sound) is abnormal. If you feel that your sound is just the drum turning, some units can be louder than others. If it is a sound as described in the abnormal sounds, this will require service by a qualified technician. We purchased this w/d through a local appliance dealer, had them install it, and are having an issue with washer.  It is extremely noisy and never fully drains.  After it is done with the cycle it comes on again by itself - possessed?  Any ideas?

Asked by: Redbear59
Hi Redbear59 Thank you for reaching out to us and choosing GE Appliances for your home. We apologize for our delay responding and to hear you are having an issue. We are happy to help. We recommend making sure to straighten the drain hose and make sure washer is not sitting on it. The top of drain outlet should be less than 8ft above floor. When the machine is manually turned off, the shifter will disengage the motor before completely shutting down. If lid is raised before the motor is disengaged, it will resume when lid is closed. Hi Perry 63, Thank you for reaching out to us and for your interest in GE Appliances. We apologize for our delay responding and are happy to help. The electrical requirements for unitized washers with electric dryers requires a 208/240 volt, individual, properly grounded branch circuit with a 3 prong grounding type receptacle, protected by a 30 amp circuit breaker or time-delay fuse. What is the diameter and length of the drain hose?

Asked by: Norshine
Hi Norshine, Thank you for your question! For connecting the washer, the standpipe diameter must be 1-1/2” minimum. There MUST be an air gap around the drain hose in the standpipe. A snug fit can cause a siphoning action. The drain height must be 30” minimum and 96” maximum.
