Once the product is in your home, you'll begin making your monthly lease renewal payments. And once you've completed all of your payments, you own it! It really is that simple.

What is preleased merchandise?Preleased merchandise is merchandise that was previously leased by another Aaron’s customer, returned, and then thoroughly checked in our store’s Quality Assurance Center to ensure it meets Aaron’s quality standards.Is this preleased merchandise available in every store?Preleased merchandise is unique to each store, and the condition and availability of items will vary by store. Please call your local store for more details on the preleased merchandise that is available in your area right now.Can I lease preleased merchandise from Aarons.com?No. All products on Aarons.com are new. Preleased merchandise is only available in your local store.How do you Quality Assure your preleased merchandise?Good question! We have specific processes for different types of preleased merchandise. These include:- Electronics: We inspect the product to make sure it is working properly. All smart televisions, gaming systems, tablets, and other electronics are cleaned and restored to factory settings.
- Computers: Computers are cleaned and restored to factory settings.
- Appliances: Appliances are cleaned inside and out.
- Upholstered Furniture: We inspect the merchandise for any rips or tears, and mend as needed. We also use a steam cleaner to thoroughly and completely clean the product. We follow all regulatory requirements for cleaning and sanitizing upholstered furniture.
- Bedroom and Dining Room Furniture: We make sure all drawers are operational and fix scratches or other damage. We tighten the handles and make sure they work properly. If the merchandise is upholstered, such as a headboard, it’s cleaned with a steam cleaner.
- Mattresses: We follow all regulatory requirements for cleaning and sanitizing mattresses.
