Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

Used it last week with no problem. Now the filter reset button is on and all lights are lit. I pulled out filter and put back in, pressed the reset button. Also reset the button on the plug. It powers on a few seconds with all lights lit, then shuts off.

Hello Kaya17 - Thanks for reaching out to us, and we apologize for our delayed response on this. We are so sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing with this air conditioner, and can certainly understand why this would be frustrating. Please disconnect power to the air conditioner for two to three minutes, this will reset the electronic components and hopefully restore normal functioning. Should the issue persist, we recommend that you review the details of your product warranty on page 17 of the owner's manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-5000096.pdf. I purchased this unit in April 2020 for my daughter's small room. Up until this day, it still doesn't cool. I tried to give it some time to see if maybe it was on our end, but the unit doesn't go lower than 80. It's too late to return now, what can I do?

Asked by: CRISN
Hello CRISN, Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear about your air conditioner not cooling properly, we know that can be frustrating. This may be happening for one or more reasons. The temp control may not be set properly. This can be fixed by turning the temperature to a higher setting. Another possible reason is that the air flow may be restricted. For this, make sure there are no curtains, blinds or furniture blocking the front of the air conditioner. If the issue persists you can look in the owners manual on page 14 for further troubleshooting tips. It can also be found at this link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-5000096.pdf If these troubleshooting tips do not resolve your issue, we recommend you schedule service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. To schedule an appointment, you can do so here: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm Hope this helps!

Hi Anonymous, thanks for checking with us! We're sorry to hear that your air conditioner isn't cooling as well as you'd like. We recommend that you check outdoor temperatures. Operating a room air conditioner if the outdoor temp is 70F or below will limit the cooling capacity of the unit. Also, you can check to see if there is ice on the coils and make sure that the filter is clean, as these things can also affect the unit's efficiency. For more information, please see page 14 of your owner's manual, linked below. https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-5000096.pdf We hope this helps! -Megan@GEA

Do all models have a subbase water plug?  I cannot find one or the hole and the AC is so loud with water splaying around inside unit.  I was hoping to empty some water out.  Thanks

Asked by: Lori2012
Hello Lori2012, Thank you so much for reaching out. We're happy to answer your question. Many models, including this one, do not have a drain plug. The water picked up by the fan blade is flung onto the hot condenser coils to evaporate and to help cool the coils. Allowing the unit to do this makes it perform more effectively. We hope this information helps. Best wishes!

why is my temp.saying 81 all the time .

Asked by: knapp916
Hello knapp916! Thanks for your question. You can use the Increase + and Decrease – pads to set the desired temperature between 64°F and 86°F in 1°F increments. If using these controls does not change the temperature, we recommend unplugging the unit and plugging it back in. If this does not resolve the issue, you will need to get your air conditioning unit serviced. You can find a local technician who works on air conditioning units. We hope this helps. Emily@GEA

Can you get more filters for these? Dog took ours while it was drying

Asked by: Fireman20
Hello Fireman20 - Thanks for reaching out to us, and we apologize for our delayed response. Yes, WJ85X26300 is the correct filter and is currently out of stock. It will be loaded to GEA Parts website once it is available to order. In the meantime, the filter WJ85X21746 for a sister model will also work. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

Had for less than 2 months, fan screamed and stopped running.

Asked by: Frank7734
Hello Frank7734, Thank you so much for reaching out. We are so sorry to hear that your air conditioner stopped working after only 2 months. This is not the quality we strive for. The air conditioner is under a one year warranty. You can read more about the warranty process on page 17 of the owner's manual. Read here:https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-5000096.pdf We hope this helps! Best wishes.

I want to take the front cover off. I took 2 screws out of sides, but encountered resistance when I tried to pull it off. Tell me if I am supposed to push up or release a snap in or something please.

Asked by: Merzpost
Hello Merzpost, We're glad you reached out! This is a great question and we'll be happy to help. The front cover can not be taken off. If you need help knowing how to change and clean the filter, slide the filter from the left side of the unit. Remove the filter and then clean it with warm, soapy water. Rinse and let the filter dry before replacing it. Do not clean the filter in a dishwasher. You can find this information on page 8 of the owner's manual. We hope this is useful! For any other questions, please reach out to us via social media or e-mail and a member of our team will be glad to assist you. - Guy@GEA
