Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). I just found out dishwashers require salt!? Where do I put salt in in my portable dishwasher?

Asked by: Jb05
Hi Jb05, We appreciate you reaching out and choosing GE Appliances. Citric acid crystals (sometimes called Sour Salt) are used to remove rust stains from objects placed inside the dishwasher. To remove these stains, you can treat with citric acid crystals following the steps below: Fill the detergent cup with three to four ounces of citric acid crystals and close the cup. Run the dishwasher through a normal cycle. Rinse thoroughly by running the dishwasher through another cycle without the crystals but with a full cup of detergent. Repeat the process if one treatment did not completely remove the staining. We hope this helps! Dom@GEA

I can not figure out how to turn on the dry cycle. Or if it even has one. Plz help!!

Asked by: Valerieilene
Hi Valerieilene, Thank you for reaching out and your interest in GE Appliances. We're sorry to hear about the issue with turning on the dry cycle, but we are glad to help! This dryer dishwasher drying feature is, Condensate Drying. Condensate Dry is an energy-efficient drying system on some dishwashers. With this drying system design, condensation will form on cooler surfaces in a warm humid environment. At the end of a cycle, while the dish load is still hot, the stainless steel tub walls are already cooling down and pulling condensation to form on the tub walls instead of the dishes. This provides natural air drying of the dish load. The use of a rinse agent ensures spot and film protection for dishes and assists the drying process. Thanks for checking! Dom@GEA

I have a GE Dishwasher (gpt225sgl0bb). The adapter that came with the unit does NOT fit our faucet. What faucet brand(s) do I need to get so the adapter will fit? Thank you ...

Asked by: Johcelyn
Hello Johclyn - Thanks for reaching out to us! We are so sorry to hear that you are having trouble connecting your new dishwasher to the sink faucet, and understand this must be frustrating. An aerator adapter is supplied with each portable dishwasher. Remove the existing strainer or aerator and screw on the aerator adapter. It fits most standard faucet spouts. An Aerator Faucet Adapter adapts your kitchen faucet to accept the dishwasher hose connection and reduces splashing in the sink when dishwasher is not hooked-up. We would recommend taking this part into your local hardware/plumbing store to help identify a new faucet that will work. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

I am looking to clean trays that are 23 inches tall. If the top shelves are removed, will these trays fit inside?

Asked by: bplehn
Hi bplehn, We thank you for reaching out to us here at GE Appliances with your dishwasher interior height tray question. We are here to assist. We recommend that you do not use trays that are 23 inches tall in this portable dishwasher. Dishwasher racks are designed to hold the following dish size with the lower rack 12" item and upper rack adjustable 10 1/2" item. Such large items will block the rotation of the upper spray arm. This could result in noise during operation and/or poor wash performance. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Del@GEA

We just bought this dishwasher and it keeps clogging and won’t drain. I am so frustrated. I tried to register it to book a service call and the model number isn’t recognized. We have only had it for a month. How do I get it fixed??

Asked by: Hilary13
Same Problem. Service has been out 6 times and they still won't replace the unit. Take it back to the store and return it, if it hasn't been 30 days because you don't want to deal with warrenty.

At what point in the timer for the cycle does it go to drying? I live in a very dry climate, and usually would just open the door at that point to save energy. But since I don't know when it hits the dry cycle, I don't know when to do it!

Asked by: Loopylinda
Hello Loopylinda, Thank you for reaching out. We're happy to answer your question. This model dishwasher does not have the option of selecting a no dry settings. It is difficult to determine exactly when the dry cycle will begin since the different options can delay the start of the drying. Page 5 of the owner's manual gives a rough estimate of the wash times with the different cycles. https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-55124-4.PDF If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us via social media or through our Contact Us page. Asked by: Nimmo
Hi Nimmo, Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear you are having an issue. I'm happy to help. Fault codes are programmed in many electronic dishwasher controls. These error, fault and function codes help GE Appliances service technicians quickly diagnose issues with the dishwasher and are not typically indicators of something you can correct yourself. Sometimes disconnecting power to the dishwasher for 30 seconds will clear the fault, error or function code, however there are some cases when further service may be required.
