Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

At what point in the timer for the cycle does it go to drying? I live in a very dry climate, and usually would just open the door at that point to save energy. But since I don't know when it hits the dry cycle, I don't know when to do it!

Asked by: Loopylinda
Hello Loopylinda, Thank you for reaching out. We're happy to answer your question. This model dishwasher does not have the option of selecting a no dry settings. It is difficult to determine exactly when the dry cycle will begin since the different options can delay the start of the drying. Page 5 of the owner's manual gives a rough estimate of the wash times with the different cycles. https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-55124-4.PDF If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us via social media or through our Contact Us page. Is it possible to remove the laminate top and install a different counter top?

Asked by: SaraNY
Hi SaraNY, Thanks for reaching out to us! We do not recommend removing the top that comes with the unit. We do not have alternative tops for the portable dishwasher in question. Portable dishwashers with a laminate top have the appearance of wood; however, it is a durable laminate surface that is less maintenance than wood. This top is not susceptible to water damage and possible separation of the veneer from the wood top. It is not designed to handle hot pots right off the burner or abrasive cleaners. This top is intended to be a light-duty working or storage surface when the dishwasher is not in use. Light weight items, such as paper, are completely acceptable to leave on top of the unit when it is not in operation. While in operation, we suggest removing items from the this top since they are subjected to the vibrations of the dishwasher’s function and may be prone to moving / falling off the dishwasher. We hope that this helps! Stay safe.

When the Sanitize option is chosen, does the cycle still dispense/use soap? Or is it just hot water?

Asked by: Kyellow
Hello Kyellow - Thank you for the excellent question. The sanitize feature is an option that can be added to a cycle. The dishwasher will run as normal, using the detergent supplied. The only difference is the last rinse in the cycle will be hot enough to sanitize the load. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance. - JB

Does this have a prop 65 warning ?

Asked by: Mike5454
Hi Mike5454 - Thanks for your interest in our GE Dishwashers! We comply with federal and state chemical labeling laws. One such law is California Proposition 65, enacted by California in 1986 (Prop 65). This state law requires companies to provide a warning for thousands of consumer products, foods, prescription drugs, alcoholic beverages, enclosed parking facilities, amusement parks, furniture, and other everyday items. For more than a decade, we have complied with the Prop 65 requirements by providing a warning in the owner's manual. California recently updated its Prop 65 regulations to require, for products produced on or after August 30, 2018, new on-product warning labels (instead of owner's manual warnings). We, and other appliance manufacturers, will use on-product warning labels to comply with this state law. Starting in early August 2018, we began adding new labels to our products to comply with the new Prop 65 requirements. The presence of a Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean the product (dishwasher) is unsafe or poses a health risk. Over 800 chemicals are on this list, including wood dust, nickel (found in stainless steel), nicotine, and alcohol. Additionally, even inaccessible parts can cause the warning. We can understand your concern; however, we do not provide detailed information about what causes the Prop 65 warning to apply. Keep in touch!
