Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

Can I order larger baskets to fit this freezer? It would help organize the freezer. The section underneath the baskets is large and hard to   The baskets are nice but very small.  Larger ones could hold more and then be lifted out to find food underneath.

Most appliance specs include the voltage and amperage. I couldn't find them in the specs portion of the information. Maybe someone could help me out. I assume it is 120 volt, but does it need a dedicated circuit?

Asked by: SRex
Hi SRex, Thank you for reaching out to us and for your interest in GE Appliances. That is a great question and we are happy to help. The minimum and maximum voltage range for our freezers is 102V to 132V. We recommend a 115 or 120 volt, 15 or 20 amp dedicated circuit for optimal performance. The freezer should be on a dedicated circuit. This is recommended for best performance and to prevent overloading house wiring circuits. We hope this helps. ' Chase@GEA

I live in AZ, garage is super-duper hot (well above the 110 degrees mentioned in the manual). Can I move this into the house, like a bedroom, on carpet, but sit in on a board of some type? Garage Ready 7.0 cu. Ft. Manual Defrost Chest Freezer in White.

Asked by: AngelaClearWater
Hi AngelaClearWater! Thanks for your question. You can move the freezer inside. The freezer must be solidly positioned on the floor to function at its best. Your freezer has adjustable leveling legs that can be turned to be solidly positioned wherever the floor is too uneven. If the place selected for the freezer is damp or moist, place 2 x 4’s (51 mm x 102 mm) under its entire length to assure adequate support. We hope this helps! Emily@GEA

What is the exact wattage that this freezer runs at? I saw an earlier question answered telling the person to reference the rating plate. That does not answer the question. I am trying to select a power inverter to run this unit on a dedicated circuit.

Asked by: MuleMan036
Hello MuleMan036, Thanks so much for reaching out. We're happy to help. To find the wattage of an appliance use this formula: volts x amps = watts. You can find the voltage and amps on the rating plate. Appliances with compressors (ex. refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers), there is a brief surge of power when the compressor cycles on. This is called the "surge" or "start-up" amps, and is about 2x to 3x the running amps. If you cannot check the rating plate, use the minimum amp breaker or fuse size recommended for this appliance as a guide. We hope this helps. Best wishes!

Why is there a large hole in the back of the freezer where a shutter or panel should be? There are pre-drilled screw holes. How do I keep dirt and other uninvited pests out of that hole?

Asked by: movinman3
Hello movinman3! Thanks for your question. Some chest freezers do not come with a rear cover plate where the power cord comes out, even though the case may have holes where screws could go. A cover plate cannot be added to these models. We recommend keeping an eye out for uninvited pests to ensure that they do not go into this hole. We hope this helps. Emily@GEA

The manual says to set the freezer at a "4" but there are no numbers on the dial. Where is a "4"?

Asked by: movinman3
Hello movinman3! Thanks for your question. We found that your freezer temperature selection is made by setting the control from "Min" to "Max" (coldest). If you want colder or warmer temperatures, adjust the control one step at a time. Allow several hours after each one-step adjustment for the freezer temperature to stabilize. You can find this information on page 5 of the freezer's Use and Care manual online at this link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000422.pdf We hope this helps. Is these freezer okay to store in a shed? (Im moving and not going to have a garage)

Asked by: katieb84113
Hi katieb84113 - Thank you for reaching out to us at GE Appliances. I am happy to assist you. Your freezer is designed to operate properly in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 110°F. It will not maintain proper internal temperatures if used in areas outside that range. If your freezer will be unused during this time, do not turn the freezer back on until the outdoor temperatures are between 0°F to 110°F. When not in use, the interior should be cleaned with baking soda and water, leave a box of open baking soda inside to prevent the formation of odors. I would also recommend reviewing the Owner's Manual for other safety recommendations: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000422.pdf I hope this helps.
