Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

What would make the oven heat hotter than the temp inside? The top of the oven gets very hot when the oven is on. I set the oven to 350 degrees and waited 15 minutes and took a laser thermometer to check the temp inside and it was almost 400 degrees.

Asked by: Smackinnon
Hello Smackinnon - thanks for contacting us regarding your range. To determine if your oven temperature is correct, we recommend performing the baking test as outlined in the following link: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=19172 We hope this helps! This stove was recently installed to replace one that had been here for years. I now want to clean the drip pans and cannot figure out how to remove the burners in order to get to the drip pans. Thanks for the help.

Asked by: GLS1
Hi GLS1- To remove a surface unit, push the surface unit back toward the receptacle. Lift the surface unit about 1 inch above the drip pan and pull it out. To replace a surface unit, replace the drip pan into the recess in the cooktop. Make sure the opening in the pan lines up with the receptacle. Insert the terminals of the surface unit through the opening in the drip pan and into the receptacle. Push the surface unit in and down so it rests evenly in the cooktop. Does this oven have an automatic 12 hour shut off if left on?

Asked by: Kayla123
Hi Kayla123- No, GE® JBS10DFWW does not have electronic controls (touch pads). Many ovens and ranges with electronic touch pad clock controls will automatically shut off after 12 hours. The benefit of this is the peace-of-mind and energy savings if the oven is accidentally left on. GE® 30" Free-Standing Electric Range JBS27DFWW has Auto Oven Shut-Off with Override: http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-specs/JBS27DFWW You may want to pair with GE® 1.6 Cu. Ft. Why does the oven light not come on automatically upon opening the oven door?

Asked by: sally45
Hi sally45- Thanks for your purchase! Many new ovens today do not have an interior light switch that automatically comes on when the door is opened. An ON/OFF switch operates the oven light. This allows you to turn on the oven light and look through the window at the food without having to open the door. It is located on the control panel. Thanks for reaching out to us. Enjoy!

How do I tell whether my oven is pre-heated or not? In a previous apartment, we had one that beeped. This one doesn't indicate anything. The 'Oven Cycle' light will just go on & off during preheating time, which doesn't tell me anything.

Asked by: Rose325
Hi Rose325-this is Sue from GE. Thanks for your purchase. For those models that do not have a Pre-Heat indicator light, we suggest to wait approximately 10-20 minutes to allow oven to complete the Pre-Heat cycle. Ovens with a visible bottom bake element will generally preheat in 5-10 minutes. Factors that will affect the preheat time are: Selected temperature (every 25 degree increment above 350 set temperature will add approximately 45-60 seconds to preheat time). Starting temperature of the oven. Room temperature. Number of racks in the oven (each additional rack will add approximately 30 seconds to preheat time) 208 volt installation will increase pre-heat time by 25%. Thanks for checking with us!
