Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise. Lawn equipment, seasonal items, and special order merchandise are excluded from the lifetime reinstatement benefit. See a store associate for complete details.

Can u adjust oven temps to be compatible with thermometer

Asked by: Tomfarlow
Hello Tomfarlow, This is a great question! Thank you for reaching out to us here at GE Appliances. We are happy to help! Yes you can adjust the oven temperature. With the back of the knob facing you, hold the outer edge of the knob with one hand and turn the front of the knob with the other hand. To increase the oven temperature, move the top screw toward the right. You’ll hear a click for each notch you move the knob. To decrease the oven temperature, move the top screw toward the left. Check out the information found in the use and care manual found on page 13 below. https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-88075-3.PDF Have a good day! The vertical stove surface above the door and knobs get extremely hot when using the oven. It this normal or could something be amiss that I should check? The door seems to close well and the gasket seems in tact.

I have a JBS460DMWW and the oven on indicator light stays on all the time, is this a easy fix and what would it take to repair?

Asked by: Towerdoc
Hi Towerdoc- We suggest to make sure the knob is in the Off position. Pull the Oven Temp knob off the range and replace matching the flat area of the knob to the shaft. See page 13 of the manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-88075.PDF If the indicator/cycle light flashes on and off when the control knob is in the "off" position, turn off the circuit breaker until service can diagnose this problem. (This is an indication that some voltage is passing through a section of the switch, which means the burner could turn itself on and heat up.) A qualified service technician is required for an accurate diagnosis. We encourage you to contact GE Appliance Service at 1-800-432-2737 for assistance or conveniently schedule an appointment online at GEAppliances.com: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm?ICID=GEARsupportflyout-service Keep in touch!

How do you clean the inside of the burners when food spills over on the dish inside and then it starts smoking after while??? There's no way for you to disconnect the burner yourself to clean...

Asked by: Tam15
Hi Tam15- You will not want to clean the bake element or the broil element. Any soil will burn off when the elements are heated. To clean the oven floor, gently lift the bake element. Clean the oven floor with warm, soapy water. For reference, see page 19 of the Owner's Manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-88057-2.PDF Before cleaning a standard oven range, the job can be made easier by using household ammonia. Place 1/2 cup in a shallow glass or pottery container in a cold oven overnight. The ammonia fumes will help loosen the burned-on grease and food. Do not turn oven on while ammonia is inside. See CLEANING A MANUAL OR STANDARD CLEAN OVEN: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18436 Foil may be used to catch spills by placing a sheet on a lower rack, several inches below the food. Do not use more foil than necessary, and never entirely cover an oven rack with aluminum foil. Keep foil at least 1 ½” from oven walls to prevent poor heat circulation. See USING ALUMINUM FOIL ON RANGE: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17043 We hope this is helpful. Keep in touch!

I have an older GE coil top. It is very annoying adjusting the oven temp because you have to keep pushing the + or - button to get to the temp you want then tell it to start. Is this the same system on this model?

Asked by: Clem47
Hi Cleam47- This range is equipped with an oven temperature knob. Simply turn the knob to the desired temperature. For reference (illustration), we suggest to view page 12 of the Owner's Manual: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-88057-2.PDF Keep in touch!
