Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

GE 30 in. 5.0 cu. ft. Gas Range with Self Cleaning Oven I want to hook this up to propane do I need to buy a conversion kit for this stove

Asked by: pauly3392
Hi pauly3392 - Thanks for choosing GE! The LP Kit is included with the range. We recommend a qualified installer or servicer convert the gas range, wall oven, or cooktop to the proper gas supply needed. The conversion must be in accordance with the manufacturer s instructions and all codes and requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. LP Instructions: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=31-11150-1.PDF Enjoy!

Does this have a pilot lights for the oven?

Asked by: Mike624
Hi Mike624 - Model #: JGB635DEKWW does not have pilot lights in the oven. The range has an electronic ignition system. The glo-bar in the oven will cycle on and off with the oven temperature. When it cycles on to heat, the gas valve opens and the gas is ignited. When the oven is at temperature, the gas valve closes there are no longer flames. You only use gas and see flames in the oven when the oven is actively heating. The automatic pilotless ignition (also called automatic electric or automatic electronic ignition) eliminates the need to light the burners. It also saves money by using less gas than a standing pilot range. Because this system has no standing pilot light, no gas is being used unless it is needed. With the spark igniter system, electricity simply sparks when the control is turned to the LITE position. Gas is simultaneously released and ignites when it comes in contact with the spark. Should there be a power failure, the oven will not function but the burners may be lit with a match. Simply hold the match near the burner, turn the control to LITE. Exercise extreme caution when lighting the burners in this manner. Thanks for your interest in GE!

Does the stove include LP conversion kit?

Asked by: DonB1963
Hi DonB1963, Thanks for reaching out to us about this! Based on our research, we're finding that the LP conversion kit comes with this range upon delivery. It is located on the back of the appliance. If you're wanting this conversion done, then we would recommend reaching out to a professional gas installer. You can view the LP conversion instructions through the following link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=31-11150-1.PDF We hope that this helps! Thanks so much for your question.

I saw this in the manual about the self cleaning mode. Shouldn't I slide my latch all the way to the right, since it's already all the way to the left? 4. Close the door. Slide the door latch handle to the left as far as it will go

Asked by: Magillil
Hello, thank you for your question! We recommend following the instructions listed on page 18 of the owner's manual, linked here: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-2000316-2.pdf If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to us at: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/contact.htm Hope this helps!

How accurate is the oven temperature?

Asked by: missE13
Hello MissE13. Gas and electric ovens will cycle on and off throughout the cycle to maintain the set temperature. When the oven temperature has dropped below the set temperature, the oven cycles on again to heat and will then cycle off again once it is higher than the set temperature. The goal is to maintain an average set temperature, but you will see a normal swing in temperatures throughout the cycle. This is typical of ovens, and is factored into how recipes are created and used. The amount the oven will cycle (either higher or lower than the set temperature) will vary, and each individual unit can be different. While we cannot provide exact temperature fluctuation ranges or variance, temperatures may vary from the set temperature by + 30 degrees to – 30 degrees. The temperature swing can also vary by how and where you are measuring the temperature in the oven, room temperature, door openings, etc. Thanks for checking.

How hot does the surface get when oven is at 400 degrees? GE tech said the self-cleaning model is better insulated than the non-self-cleaning model JGBS60DEKWW which runs VERY HOT when the oven is operating. Cannot use the cooktop when oven is in use!

Asked by: Leslie Anne
Hello Leslie Anne - Thank you for your interest in our ranges. Feeling some heat on the cooktop surface is normal when the oven is in use. If the heat is excessive, check to make sure all the oven vents are clean and clear of obstruction. You can find the location of all the vents on page 15 of the Owner's Manual here: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-2000316-1.pdf Thanks for reaching out! What does PrE mean in the display when the oven is heating? And when the temperature does appear does that mean the oven has reached the temperature I set? Disappointed that this info is not in the manual that I had to request.

Asked by: LSJPmjabj
Hi LSJPmjabj- Thanks for choosing GE! We are happy to provide assistance. PrE indicates Preheat. The range has an audible preheat signal. Many newer ranges have a Preheat that will signal when the oven has reached a temperature hot enough to add food, rather than when the set temperature is reached. Typically the range will signal after about 7-12 minutes, depending of the temperature you set. We test our ranges with prepackaged foods, frozen pizzas, baked goods, etc. We put the items in at the beep, and get good results. This can help save time in the kitchen, since you are not waiting longer for the preheat than necessary, in most cases. Recipes can differ, as can a food's preheat requirements. Most foods we tested don't require additional oven heating, though there are always exceptions. If you're finding a recipe isn't cooking properly, then you may want to turn on the oven a little bit before you start your food preparation to give it a little more time. You can also remove unused racks when using the oven for faster preheat, improved efficiency, and optimal performance. Also, for your convenience, most Owner's Manuals for appliances are available online: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-2000316.pdf OWNER'S MANUAL & INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/literature.htm?icid=GEARsupportflyout-manuals Keep in touch. How do I get to the pilot light to turn it off?

Asked by: Jen83
Hi Jen83- The range has an electronic ignition system and not a standing pilot. If you need to turn off the gas regulator, see page 32 of the Owner's Manual at this link: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-85220-2.pdf The regulator is located behind the drawer compartment near the gas line attachment at the rear of your range. A shield may need to be removed to access the regulator. Flip the lever on the side of the regulator to the position shown to resume gas flow. View video: https://youtu.be/VgGjnqF_a5A Keep in touch!

Is the vent grill behind the oven handle made of a plastic material or is it metal with the porcelin/enamel finish. I am concerned about it becoming stained from the venting of the oven/stove top.

Asked by: geosel
Hello geosel, Thank you for your question. I am happy to help. It is a painted metal vent that is designed to hold up well to heat and staining. We appreciate you checking with us.

We are interested in purchasing the black stove JGB635DEKBB. We noticed a review that stated they have tried everything to clean it and it always shows streaks and what looks like water spots. Is the black finish hard to keep clean?

Asked by: Mark6205
Hi Mark6205 - thank you for reaching out to GE Appliances and I'm happy to clarify. It should not be difficult to clean and maintain the exterior surface. Per your owner's manual at http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-85220-1.pdf , page 21, 'Oven Exterior', it is suggested to clean with mild soap and water or a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water, rinsing with clean water and polishing with a clean dry soft cloth. Happy cooking!

Asked by: KatG16
Hi KatG16 - thank you for contacting GE Appliances on our beautiful gas free-standing range! This area is where the heat from your oven is vented from (center of the backsplash area) when in use. It will feel warm and may even seem to be turned on. http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17386
