Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). Burner light stays on after all the control knobs are off and all the coils are cold

Asked by: A Jenson
Good afternoon A Jenson, Thank you for reaching out to us about this light issue and we apologize for this inconvenience! With a problem like this we do not have any troubleshooting recommendations for you to attempt on your own. Often times with something involving the indicator light there could be a problem with some wiring and we would recommend having one of our experienced service technicians come and look at this. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm We appreciate having you in our GEA family and please let us know if you have any additional questions. Hot surface light stays on with cold service.

Asked by: Big PimpN
Hello Big PimpN, Thanks for contacting us here at GEA. This is a great question about the surface light! We are happy to assist. After the unit is turned off, the light will remain on until the area around the burner has cooled to below 150 degrees F. This usually takes about twenty minutes. This range also has a Burner On indicator light. As soon as you turn a burner on, the light will come on to indicate which burner you have selected. This may explain the light on with cold service. Let us know if you have any additional questions. Del@GEA

Is there a way to remove minor scratches on the cooktop surface?

Asked by: Scratched
Hi Scratched, Thank you for reaching out and your interest in GE Appliances. Scratches are not removable, especially deep scratches. Small scratches will become less visible after cleaning, and some marks that only look like scratches can be removed altogether by cleaning. Make sure the cooktop surface is clean. Coarse particles (salt, sand, etc.) trapped between pans and the surface of the cooktop can cause scratches. Keep in touch! Dom@GEA

Hello I am purchasing this oven unit and I read to use mild detergent for cleaning. Do you have any suggestions on what is considered a mild detergent. Thank you

Asked by: MATTY44
Hi MATTY44, Good morning and thank you for GE Appliances! Do not use oven cleaners, strong liquid cleansers, steel wool, plastic scouring pads, or cleaning powders on the interior or exterior of the oven. Clean with a mild soap and water or vinegar and water solution. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. When cleaning surfaces, make sure that they are at room temperature and not in direct sunlight. Keep in touch! Dom@GEA

What type of electric power plug do I need for this?

Asked by: L in da
Hi there L in da, This is a gorgeous slide in range and we appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us about this! The type of cord you need depends on when your home was built. If you live in a home that was built prior to 1996, the outlet for your kitchen range may still require a 3 prong cord. However, if your home was built after 1996 then you will need a 4 prong outlet cord. Here are the links to each of the 3 prong and 4 prong cord we recommend. After you find out which cord you need, you are able to order directly from this link and have it shipped to your door! https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/spec/WX09X10036 (4 prong) https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/spec/WX09X10011 (3 prong) If you have any additional questions with this model or need any assistance determining which cord to buy, we are always here to help! Does over turn off when timer goes off or does it have to turn off manually

Asked by: Pugmom2
There appears to be some confusion here. In looking at the oven manual it states, "Cook Time: Counts down cooking time and turns off the oven when the cooking time is complete. Press the Cook Time pad, use the + - pads to program a cooking time in hours and minutes, then press Start. This can only be used with Bake and Convection Bake (where available)." Perhaps the responder was referring to the "Timer" only function which will not turn the oven off.

Does this range have a top with those little white dots all over? If so, how does one clean off the top with a razor blade scraper with the raised dots?

Asked by: CatBob2

I have regular electric burners. Hesitant to switch to power boil elements, what are the benefits and not so good about them?

Asked by: Chaka33
Hi Chaka33, thank you for your question. I'm happy to help! The 6"/9" PowerBoil element provides up to 3,100 watts of power to speed the boiling process. It does not show as a separate setting, but is normally part of the dual element on the Hi setting. The 6"/9" PowerBoil element is 20% more powerful than the standard 6"/9" element and the PowerBoil packs the same wattage as the 12-inch elements into an element that is 33% smaller. By concentrating the heat, our time to boil has been reduced by approximately 14%. Dallas@GEA

Why is Glass top so hard to keep clean... using recommended product and can not get all the dark spots and other imperfections off... Not happy about this... what can I do

Asked by: Roz24
Hello Roz24, Thank you kindly for reaching out to us! We are so sorry to hear about the glass top not getting clean, we understand how frustrating that can be. We are so happy to to help you out anyway we can! We recommend following these tips if you can. Be careful not to slide pots and pans across your cooktop; it will leave metal markings on the cooktop surface. The dark spots on the glass top is pan residue. The pattern on the glass has a rough surface and will “gather” material from the bottom of soft metal pans. It does not occur much with harder Stainless steel pans. Cleaning cream and a razor scraper will remove this material from the cooktop glass. The most important is to regularly use ceramic cooktop cleaner this will help keep the cooktop looking new and fresh. You can locate more useful cleaning tips on page 20 of the Use and Care manual. Hope this helps! Jonathon@GEA
