Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise. Lawn equipment, seasonal items, and special order merchandise are excluded from the lifetime reinstatement benefit. See a store associate for complete details.

My new range is very nice, but takes some getting used to.  I did not receive a hard  copy of instructions for use.  I do not wan to download the multi-page manual that was sent with the review of said product.  Please advise and Thanks!

Asked by: rosez7
Hello there! Congratulations on the new range! It can definitely be nerve wrecking when you first get a new appliance that you are not familiar with. You can also call the GE Answer Center® at 1-800-626-2005 in the U.S. or 1-800-361-1100 in Canada to obtain an Owner's Manuals or Installation Instructions for your Monogram®, GE Profile Performance™ , GE Profile™, Cafe™, GE, Hotpoint or RCA brand appliance. Their hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. ET, 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. ET Saturday and closed Sunday. It will not be a bound copy but rather a stapled print out of the manual. We understand not wanting to download the manuals onto your devices but some of the benefits are: Getting the most up-to-date version of the document Save money and paper by downloading and viewing electronically. End the need for filing away paper manuals. Search the electronic document for specific keywords (ex. "griddle") by using Control + F. Our range suddenly started displaying a Bad Line error. We checked the voltage of the circuit breaker, power outlet, and even the power cable on the back of the range and they all read 220 which should be enough. What else could be the problem?

What is the clearance under the handle? We have a drawer that opens across the oven, and need at least 27 5/8" from the floor to open the drawer. Seems most ovens have a handle right at that height.

Asked by: ianzabel
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, and we apologize for our delayed response. This is a great question and we are happy to help. The distance from the bottom of the handle to the floor is approximately 33-1/8" at highest leveling position and 32" at the lowest position. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

In The GE Electric Range Model #JB645RKSS what does Auto Oven Shut Off with Override mean? The JB625RKSS also has it listed in the specs.

Asked by: MSRP
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, this is a great question! Many ovens and ranges with touch pad clock controls will automatically shut off after 12 hours. The benefit of this is the peace-of-mind and energy savings if the oven is accidentally left on. When the feature was first introduced, some models had the automatic oven shut-off and others did not. An "Override" feature was also introduced later. This allows the 12 hour shut-off to be deactivated so that the oven can be used for longer than 12 hours at a time. With the Override portion of this feature, you can turn this 12 hour auto shut off feature on or off. Page 12 of the owner's manual talks more about this as there are options, along with Sabbath Mode, that are "12 SHdn" and "no SHdn" that you can choose from: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-2000902.pdf. Was this supposed to come with the mounting bracket because ours was missing?

Asked by: LisaY345
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us! We are so sorry to hear that your range is missing a part, and would like to help. An anti-tip device is a metal bracket that is designed to prevent a product—especially one that is top-heavy--from tipping over. It attaches to the product and secures it against the wall. An anti-tip bracket is included with all gas, dual fuel, and electric ranges, as well as most built-in and counter-depth refrigerators. It is a safety device and must be attached when the appliance is installed. The installation instructions for the appliance provide directions for installing the anti-tip. If you make an appliance purchase through our site or through a retail partner and have the appliance delivered and installed, the delivery agent is required to install it with the anti-tip bracket. If missing, we will furnish anti-tip devices with all of our freestanding, slide-in and drop-in ranges at no charge. Please call 1-800-626-8774 if you do not have a bracket for your range. We will ship you the bracket for your range at no charge. We will also need to mail, email or fax a copy of the installation instructions for the anti-tip bracket. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

When I use the oven, the coil comes on, goes off, comes on, goes off, etc. Is this normal?

Asked by: Kim2424
Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us and choosing GE Appliances for your home. That is a great question and we are happy to help. Gas and electric ovens will cycle on and off throughout the cycle to maintain the set temperature. When the oven temperature has dropped below the set temperature, the oven cycles on again to heat and will then cycle off again once it is higher than the set temperature. The goal is to maintain an average set temperature, but you will see a normal swing in temperatures throughout the cycle. This is typical of ovens, and is factored into how recipes are created and used. Hope this helps! Chase@GEA

Asked by: MrK451
Hi! Thank you for reaching out and choosing GE Appliances. We're sorry to hear that the oven is non-responsive, we know how inconvenient that can be. Hot surface light stays on with cold service.

Asked by: Big PimpN
Hello Big PimpN, Thanks for contacting us here at GEA. This is a great question about the surface light! We are happy to assist. After the unit is turned off, the light will remain on until the area around the burner has cooled to below 150 degrees F. This usually takes about twenty minutes. This range also has a Burner On indicator light. As soon as you turn a burner on, the light will come on to indicate which burner you have selected. This may explain the light on with cold service. Let us know if you have any additional questions. Del@GEA

Is there a way to remove minor scratches on the cooktop surface?

Asked by: Scratched
Hi Scratched, Thank you for reaching out and your interest in GE Appliances. Scratches are not removable, especially deep scratches. Small scratches will become less visible after cleaning, and some marks that only look like scratches can be removed altogether by cleaning. Make sure the cooktop surface is clean. Coarse particles (salt, sand, etc.) trapped between pans and the surface of the cooktop can cause scratches. Keep in touch! Dom@GEA

Hi MATTY44, Good morning and thank you for GE Appliances! Do not use oven cleaners, strong liquid cleansers, steel wool, plastic scouring pads, or cleaning powders on the interior or exterior of the oven. What type of electric power plug do I need for this?

Asked by: L in da
Hi there L in da, This is a gorgeous slide in range and we appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us about this! The type of cord you need depends on when your home was built. If you live in a home that was built prior to 1996, the outlet for your kitchen range may still require a 3 prong cord. However, if your home was built after 1996 then you will need a 4 prong outlet cord. Here are the links to each of the 3 prong and 4 prong cord we recommend. After you find out which cord you need, you are able to order directly from this link and have it shipped to your door! https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/spec/WX09X10036 (4 prong) https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/spec/WX09X10011 (3 prong) If you have any additional questions with this model or need any assistance determining which cord to buy, we are always here to help!
