Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

Model JBS60RKSS is in my apartment.  Question. Is the right front large burner supposed to cycle on and off while cooking?

Asked by: Dgnlongbeach
Hi Dgnlongbeach - Thanks for reaching out to us regarding the GE range included in your apartment. Yes, it is normal operation for radiant elements to cycle on and off (glow red and then go dark) during operation. When the radiant unit is turned on High the unit will cycle on about 75% of the time and off 25% of the time. On medium settings, the unit will cycle about 50% on and 50% off. On low setting, the unit will cycle about 25% on and 75% off. The type of cookware you use on a radiant cooktop can affect how it performs. We recommend using medium or heavy-weight cookware. Flat Bottom pans are essential for good cooking performance since the bottom of the pan needs to touch the glass for the best heat transfer. Have a number of scratches on glass top, is there a way to repair?

Asked by: Henpen
Glass cooktops are made of a durable, scratch-resistant glass ceramic material. They are not scratch proof, so it is important to use the proper cookware and follow proper cleaning procedures. Scratches are not removable, especially deep scratches. Small scratches will become less visible after cleaning, and some marks that only look like scratches can be removed altogether by cleaning. Make sure the cooktop surface is clean. Coarse particles (salt, sand, etc.) trapped between pans and the surface of the cooktop can cause scratches. Can I cook in cast iron pots and pans on the glass tops?

Asked by: Sparkle1966
Hi Sparkle1966, I am happy to help. Cast Iron cookware is not recommended. If the cookware has a burr or rough spot, it will scratch the glass surface. Additionally, it is slow to absorb heat. Once this type of cookware heats up, especially on high heat, it holds an intense amount of heat which is transferred to the cooktop. This can cause the element to shut down as a response to the temperature limiters which indicate surface temperature is too high for cooktop components to handle. Porcelain Coated Cast Iron cookware is okay as long as the cookware is covered completely with porcelain enamel. Caution is recommended when using cast iron cookware that is not completely covered with smooth porcelain enamel, as it may scratch the glass ceramic cooktop. Additionally, if used at hi heat for a long period it will hold heat as described for plain cast iron and could shut down in response to the temperature limiters which indicate surface temperature is too high for cooktop components to handle. I hope this is helpful. Thank you for checking with us.

I cannot change the time. I hold the buttons for 3 seconds as it says, but nothing happens. Very frustrating. What am I doing wrong? I've had others try & we still can't do it.
