Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

How to fix scratches ... I want to buy a product but works only in kit coated steel, so I don’t know if this one have been coated or not, can you tell me? And any ideas o suggestions on products to fix scratches...

Asked by: DFaria
Hello- Thanks for reaching out to us, and we apologize for our delayed response. Kitchen appliances made for use inside the home do not have coated stainless steel. Cleaners that contain Oxalic Acid, such as Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser, will remove rust, tarnish, and small blemishes. Use only the liquid cleanser (free of grit) and be sure rub in the direction of the metal grain lines with a damp soft sponge. If the stainless is scratched, using one of these cleaning methods can often help reduce the appearance of the scratches. For visible scratches, there is not an approved repair method to cover the scratches. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

I purchased this refrigerator about a month ago. The door gasket does not seal in one corner. What should I do to fix this?

Asked by: JimD1616
I did watch the video. I used a hair dryer and was able to get a better seal, but not completely. If I put a piece of dental floss in that area, it pulls through easily with little resistance. And it looks like it may be slowly opening back up.

Does the ice maker filter the water before it makes ice? The tap water isn’t drinkable in our area and we want to use the ice in our drinks.

Asked by: JanJH
Hi there JanJH, This is a great question and we are happy to check this for you! Yes, all of our refrigerators that are equipped with a water filter option filter drinking water as well as filter the water required to make ice cubes. A good rule of thumb to follow is to replace your water filter every six months or after every 200 gallons of dispensed water, or in this case the amount of water used to make the ice. The filter should be replaced more frequently if the flow of water to the icemaker or dispenser decreases. The water filter you need for this model is part number GXRLQ! To find this replacement part you can go to the parts page of our website. For your convenience we have posted the link to this part below. You are able to order this filter and have it shipped directly to your door! https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/spec/GXRLQ If you need any assistance with installing your new filter, the link to our installation guide can be found below! https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=31-6000029.pdf&_ga=2.175537058.1452109278.1613407156-2031938964.1611168085 If you have any additional questions or need further help with filter installation, feel free to connect with us again! How do you turn the leveling legs once they're already resting on the floor (since the weight of the refrigerator is now on them, it's not possible to simply turn them like the manual shows)? Is the only way to somehow jack up the refrigerator?

Asked by: AnthonyPA12
Hi AnthonyPA12 - Thank you for reaching out to us at GE Appliances. I am happy to assist you. Even with the weight of the refrigerator resting on the legs you should be able to level the unit according to the directions on Page 11 of the Owner's Manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-60801-2.pdf It would not be necessary to jack up the refrigerator in order to level the legs. If you are continuing to have difficulty with this, please contact us via email: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/contact.htm so we can discuss the situation further. Have a great day! Vikki@GEA

I live in an area where the humidity has produced rust on the side, which appears to be black paint. Is this paint matte or flat, as I have to paint it.
