Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

How can I change the temperature  of the the freezer?

Asked by: fridgebuyer69
Hi fridgebuyer69 - Thanks for choosing GE! For colder freezer, turn the knob clockwise toward. The fresh food control regulates how long the compressor runs, and in effect, how cold both compartments can become. The video at the following link shows how to adjust the temperature controls on Top Mount refrigerators: https://youtu.be/Fk8X4jsGNfg We hope this is helpful. Keep in touch!

How do u get the guards off the door for your condiments

Asked by: Kimi5
Hi Kimi, We are finding that you should be able to take hold of the rounded edged of the guards and gently lift upward. This should allow the guards to release and be removed from the door. You can also take a look at this diagram to get a better idea of how the guards are set into the door: https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/ModelSectionParts/GTS18GTNBRBB/1/0/0/0/DOORS We hope that this helped! What is the rated noise level of this refrigerator (in decibels)? This will be located in an open space in our recreation room, and we are looking for relatively quiet operating noise

Asked by: Second st
Hello Second st - We appreciate your interest and we are happy to help! We do not rate the sound level of our refrigerators, which means we are unable to provide a decibel level while they are running. The normal operation of your refrigerator will cause some sound. Why wont the top shelf in the refrigerator slide all the way to the back? Items placed at the back of the shelf fall through this large gap.

Asked by: MBG43
Hello MBG43 - Thank you for the excellent question about your amazing refrigerator. The shelves will not slide completely back to allow for proper airflow around the cabinet. This guarantees that the unit is cooling to the best of its ability. If there is an extreme gap between the shelf and the back of the refrigerator cabinet, we recommend checking for any obstructions that may prevent the shelf from sliding back. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

I have an old refrigerator that has been connected to an ungrounded receptacle for many years. The installation instruction state that it requires a 3-hole grounded receptacle. Does that mean, I need to have a grounded receptacle installed?

Asked by: p1000
Hi p1000 - Thanks for choosing GE! Yes, our refrigerators require a 115 or 120 volt individual, properly grounded branch circuit with a 3 prong grounding type receptacle, protected by a 15 or 20 amp circuit breaker or time-delay fuse. Should be on a dedicated circuit. This is recommended for best performance and to prevent overloading house wiring circuits. I have a GE® 17.5 Cu. Ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator GTS18GTHBB. It runs more often than it should and makes gurgling noise, is it low on refrigerant? Also sounds like the fan in the freezer compartment is striking one of the other components, why?

Asked by: Michael122
Hi Michael122 - Thanks for reaching out to us! For refrigerators and freezers to maintain proper temperature, the compressor will run much of the time. Newer refrigerators have smaller, more powerful, high-speed compressors that are designed to run 80 % to 90% of the time. This makes them more energy efficient because the greatest amount of energy used when the compressor cycles on. View REFRIGERATOR NORMAL RUN TIME: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16932 The flow of refrigerant through the freezer cooling coils may make a gurgling noise like boiling water. This is normal. We were surprised the refigerator light doesn’t have a cover... should it?  (We’re a little worries we’ll break it since it’s exposed)... also, where on the dial would be considered a “normal” temp for fridge and freezer?  Thanks!

Asked by: 34Jones
Hi 34Jones- There is no cover over the light bulb. This is normal and part of the design. It is recessed behind the control panel so should not cause an issue when loading your refrigerator. The recommended setting is "Colder" (mid position). Play Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fk8X4jsGNfg&list=PLX8_V2wHGuhkpF-Vd9FPuC6CqiPSUA7JY&t=0s&index=9 Keep in touch!

I want to move the shelves but it feels as if the plastic retainers and such are going to break, What is the method to do that? Is there a video or manual? Thanks

Asked by: Ken27
Hi Ken27- Many newer top-mount refrigerators now have glass shelves. The glass shelf assembly has white clips (tabs) that help keep the shelf in place. These are durable and should not break during removal. To remove the shelf: 1.Press up on the center (back) tab on the shelf. 2.While pushing in on that tab, slide the shelf forward to clear the two side tabs. 3.Once you clear the side tabs, you can then pull the shelf out. Can this refrigerator be used in a garage where the temperature could be as low as 30 degrees F?

Asked by: Cusman
Hi Cusman - thank you for your question. We do not recommend installing a refrigerator in an unheated location such as garages, porches, or unheated rooms during periods when the temperature is likely to fall below 60 degrees Fahrenheit. At this temperature, the unit is less efficient and will continue to lose efficiency as the outdoor temperature decreases. At 32 degrees or below, there is no cooling capability at all. http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16910 We appreciate you reaching out to us to confirm!
