Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

What is the jack on top of fridge for?

Asked by: Kirkgreen
Hi Kirkgreen - Most current appliances have a data port (like an RJ jack or Ethernet port) that allows the appliance to be tested or serviced more easily. This port is used by GE Appliances factory technicians to plug in their diagnostic equipment when needed. Servicing your appliance may require the use of the onboard data port for diagnostics. This gives our service technicians the ability to quickly diagnose any issues with your appliance and helps us improve our products by providing us with information on your appliance. If you do not want your appliance data to be sent to us, please advise your technician not to submit the data at the time of service. You may see flashing or blinking lights coming from the data port area. This is normal and is part of the diagnostic system. Keep in touch!

We are looking at this model but realize this will come out to far in our kitchen. Question does GE make a smaller Case depth with door handle less 36-5/8 in slate with bottom freezer?

Asked by: Shinny

We suggest to view our counter-depth style refrigerators at the following link: http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-category/refrigerators?ascdesc=d&p=1&r=12&sortBy=price&Type=French+Door&Color=Slate&Features=Counter+Depth You can also view a comparison chart: http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-compare/&sku=PWE23KMKES&sku=PYE22PMKES&sku=PYE22KMKES&sku=GYE22HMKES GE SLATE APPLIANCES: http://www.geappliances.com/ge/slate-appliances.htm Check out Limited Time Special Offers: http://www.geappliances.com/ge/rebates-promotions/?ICID=topnavG-offers Thanks for checking with us!

Recently purchased the refrigerator and am having difficulty installing the handles. They do not appear to be snapping into place. Is there a step I am missing to get it to snap in place?

Asked by: Bobbie123
Hi Bobbie123- Thanks for your purchase! We are sorry to hear of the difficulty installing the handles and encourage you to view page 19 of the Owner's Manual at the following link: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-60758.pdf The refrigerator handle has to be pulled firmly down and the freezer handles firmly to the left until you feel a snap. It will feel locked into place. The trick is to stand at the left end of the freezer handle and grab the handle and pull towards you. It will not work if you face the freezer handle and pull left; you must stand to the left side of the handle and pull towards you. For further assistance, we encourage you to contact GE Appliance Service at 1-800-432-2737 for conveniently schedule an appointment online: http://www .geappliances.com/service_and_support/service/ Thanks for reaching out to us!

Considering this item, really like the color and bottom freezer. Wondering about noise level? Is there a rating system for noise? Decible and run time? Tired of loud appliances. Thank you

Asked by: Nurse Meme
Hi Nurse Meme- Thanks for viewing! While decibel ratings are not available, we realize the kitchen is a popular gathering place so our refrigerators continue to be manufactured with as quiet an operation as possible. Newer refrigerators sound different from older refrigerators. Modern refrigerators have more features and use newer technology. You may hear a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound from the new high efficiency compressor while it is operating. Also, room environment and acoustics can affect refrigerator operation sounds. Also, check out the following link regarding run time: http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16932 Thanks for checking with us!

Is there a way to loosen the front panel to help in removing the residual plastic film used to to cover the front panel during production? The tiny film pieces are noticeable I would like to remove them without scratching the panel.

Is there a water dispenser in door ??

Asked by: Ed Nowa
Hi Ed Nowa - Thank you for your interest and I'm happy to assist. Per http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-specs/GDE21EMKES#, 'Specs & Details', 'Features - Dispenser', indicates this is a non-dispenser model.

I understand that the door hinges can be switched (for example to open let rather than the standard rightt) but will the retailer do that for me? or it the consumers responsibility once home?  and how is the handle moved?

Asked by: erinpenny
Hi erinpenny - thank you for your inquiry on our beautiful bottom mount refrigerator! You will need to speak with each dealer to determine if their installers will handle the reversal upon delivery. If not, the instructions for reversing the door can be found within the owner's manual/installation instructions at http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-60758.pdf , pages 26-29. Attaching the handles can be found on page 19. Just do the reverse for removing. We certainly appreciate you reaching out to GE Appliances!

Do I have to allow extra width to open the door?

Asked by: JNIV
Hi JNIV- We are excited to hear of your interest! If an adjacent wall or cabinet is deeper than the refrigerator case depth (depth w/o doors), the doors will not be able to open. To be able to fully access the drawers, the door will need to open to 90 degrees. To be able to remove drawers, the doors must be able to open fully. Case Depth Without Door is 29 3/4 in. Also, see page 18 of the Installation Instructions at this link: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-60758.pdf Thanks for checking with us!

Will this line be offered in 24 inch range and refrigerator?  Americans would like for American companies to offer what the European countries have been for years, as the tiny/small house movement is here.

Asked by: Xena1
Hi Xena1- We are excited to hear of your interest in our Slate appliances. We are continuing to expand the Slate product line. Although there is not any specific product information available at this time regarding 24" models, new models are added to our Slate web page as they become available: http://www.geappliances.com/ge/slate-appliances.htm Keep in touch!
