Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

How much does the freezer fluctuate in temperature?  I have it in my garage and am in the West Coast, so it doesn't get too cold over here.  But I noticed that it would fluctuate from 0 to 8 degrees.  Is this normal?

Asked by: pochaccoABC
Hi pochaccoABC, Thank you for reaching out to us and choosing GE Appliances for your home. We understand your concern and are happy to help with your temperature question. Yes this is normal for your top freezer refrigerator model. The refrigerator and freezer controls during peak temperature swings, high or low, ensures the compressor operates frequently enough to keep stored food at safe temperatures. For cold ambient conditions (38-54°F), the refrigerator should be set to setting 2 to prevent food from freezing in the refrigerator compartment, and the freezer setting should be adjusted to position 5 to prevent food from thawing in the freezer compartment. We hope this helps! Please reach out to us again soon. Del@GEA

How many LED light bulbs are supposed to be in the refrigerator area

Asked by: WBETANCUR
Hi WBETANCUR, We thank you for reaching out to us here at GE Appliances. This is a good question. We are here to assist you with your bulb question. This is an amazing refrigerator! There are 8 LED (light-emitting diodes) lights in a slim design panel that provide a bright interior in the fresh food section. LEDs last longer than a standard light bulb and saves space for taller items with its slim design. We hope this helps! Enjoy your day. Del@GEA

The freezer has two shelf supports—can i get an additional shelf and use two shelves in the freezer?  Would be useful for ice cube trays, etc.  Also, my new fridge didn’t come with a care and use manual — are there any coils or other parts to vacuum?  Thx

Asked by: Joe217
Hello Joe217 - We hope you are doing well. Thank you so much for checking in and we're definitely happy to help out. After taking a look around we found that the freezer wouldn't be compatible with adding any additional shelves. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The condenser is a Frost Free unit and doesn't require as much cleaning as normal. As for the Use and Care manual, we offer a digital version on our website that you can save and use at anytime. Here is the link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000478-1.pdf We hope this helps out some. How does the glass door cover above bottom drawers fit properly? It seems to just "rest" on back, not fit into a channel. Is that right?

Asked by: Tmay
Hello Tmay, We thank you for being apart of our GEA family. This is a good question about the glass covers. We are here to help. We hope you are enjoying your refrigerator. If the covers do not fill secure we recommend these steps to ensure they are in place properly. 1. Remove the drawers. 2. Reach in, push the back of glass cover up, and at the same time, pull it backward as far as it will come. Tilt it and take it out. 3. Remove the drawer frame. (Always remove the glass cover before you take out the drawer frame.) Lift the frame off the supports at each side and back, pull it forward, tilt it and take it out. To replace: 1. Lower the frame until it rests on the supports at each side and back. 2. Replace the glass cover, pushing its front edge firmly into the front frame channel and gently lowering the back into place. This should correct any issues you are having with the glass door covers not being secure. We hope this helps! Let us know if you have any additional questions. Del@GEA

I purchased an IM4D ice maker for my fridge. I installed it. However it is very slow on making ice. Troubleshooting followed. The water flow is good to the icemaker and cube size is acceptable. Freezer temp is 10 degrees. What next?

Asked by: cbx001
Hi cbx001, Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear about your ice maker. We recommend to make sure that the door is properly shut and sealed properly. This is one reason the Ice could be produced slowly. Hi, can you tell me the approximate percentage of US content on this refrigerator? It does not have an ice maker. Also does GE make the compressor or is it supplied by an outside vendor?

Asked by: Fridgeguy1967
Hello, Fridgeguy1967, We appreciate you reaching out to us. Thank you for your interest in this beautiful refrigerator. We are sorry to say we don't have the exact percentage of US content for this refrigerator but it does equal 70 to 90% this is due to different parts and manufacturing locations changing from time to time. So we do have some parts manufactured globally and this can include the compressor. We hope this clears things up a little. Thank you again, for reaching out to us. Jonathon@GEA

Had this unit for a week now and the fan is running non stop. Is that normal on this model?

Asked by: JoseRC
Hi, JossRC Thank you so much for reaching out. We appreciate you being apart of the GE Appliances family and congratulations on your new refrigerator. We are more than happy to provide some assistance. It is normal to hear the fan more often in your new refrigerator due to the high efficiency compressor. It could also be running more frequently due to the temperature set and the ambient temperature of the room. However, it shouldn't be running non-stop and if making small adjustments to the temperature and waiting for 24 hours; still doesn't stop the fan. We would want to potentially get an approved technician out to the home for diagnosis. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm We hope this helps. Keep in touch and let us know if you have any further questions. Jonathon@GEA
