Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise. Lawn equipment, seasonal items, and special order merchandise are excluded from the lifetime reinstatement benefit. See a store associate for complete details.

Which water filter plug is compatible with this refrigerator, GFE28GYNFS?

Asked by: Bigzinaz
Hi there! We are so grateful to have you as part of our GE Appliances family! We know it can be difficult to determine which parts are compatible with your model, but we are always happy to help. If you are not wanting to use a water filter, a plastic bypass plug must be used in place of the filter. The dispenser and icemaker will not operate without either the filter or the bypass plug installed. To obtain a free bypass plug, visit us on-line at geappliances.com/service OR give us a call at 1-800-626-2005. You can find the bypass plug for your mode here (WR01X29059): www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/spec/WR01X29059 You can find the water filter for this model here (RPWFE): www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/KeywordSearch?q=RPWFE The bypass plug is installed in the same way as a filter cartridge. You can find instructions for this on page 17 of the Use & Care Manual here: products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000585-1.pdf We hope this helps! Is there a way to make filtered water colder? It comes out room temperature.

Asked by: Water is room temperature
Hello! We appreciate you connecting with us for your question. We are more than happy to provide guidance. Bottom freezer refrigerators. such as yours have a water reservoir coil in the fresh food section that holds 12 - 24 oz. of water. The water is chilled and stored until it is needed. Since the reservoir is in the fresh food section, the water will not be ice-cold. There is no way to make the water any cooler. We do apologize about any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for checking with us, and we hope this information helps. Please feel free to reach out to us with any additional questions you may have. - Adrian@GEA

The left outside of the refrigerator is measuring at 44 degrees F and building up condensation, probably where the freezer ducts run to the ice maker in the door. I’m assuming this is not normal; I’d expect the insulation would perform much better.

Are GFE28GELDS and GFE28GELKDS the same refrigerator? If the latter is a discontinued model, why was it discontinued?

Asked by: jby6g
Hello, Thanks for the question! We appreciate you reaching out to check on this and we're happy to clear it up for you. Yes, these are the same model with the letter K difference representing the manufacturing code. When the model is manufactured, these extra letters/numbers are placed on the appliance rating plate and product registration card. These letters/numbers are used to identify manufacturing-specific data when the appliance is made. We hope this helped clear that up a little, we know it can be a little confusing to see so many different model numbers. Stay safe! Jonathon@GEA

Our door alarm says it is "ON" but when we leave the door open alarm does not ring and a red "triangle" light comes on. What am I doing wrong or how do I fix it?

Asked by: Homer the blind Poet
Hello. We appreciate you reaching out to us with your refrigerator issues. We apologize that the door alarm is not notifying you when the door is open for too long. You may need to turn up the volume of the door chime. You can do so by following the directions on page 11 of your use and care manual. Here is the link to the online version: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-60792-4.pdf. Also in the use and care manual, it speaks about the red triangle. It is a warning system for your water filter. By following the suggestions on page 46, that light will turn itself off. If none of these seem to work, service will be needed. You can either call us at 1-800-626-2005 or chat in using the link provided here: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/contact-others.htm. Have a great day! Will@GEA

How do u change temperature

Asked by: CSMW
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, this is a great question! On the dispenser control panel of this model you will see two buttons, one that says "Freezer" and one that says "Fridge". To change the temperature inside the unit you will press one of these buttons, depending on which part of the unit you would like to adjust. As you press one of these buttons the temperature setting will rise. You can continue to press this button, and eventually the maximum allowable temperature will be reached. As you continue to press the button, the temperature control will revert back to the minimum allowable setting and you can work up to your desired temperature from there. 4 year old model.  We have started having water pool out the bottom of the fridge.  Any known issues that could be causing this?

Asked by: LacyH
Hi there! We appreciate you connecting with us. We are so sorry to hear that you are experiencing this with your refrigerator, we understand the inconvenience this causes. We are happy to help. If you find water on the floor in front of your refrigerator, you should make sure the water line to the refrigerator or refrigerator water valve on the back is not leaking. Leaking from the icemaker or water valve would require service. Water on the floor from your refrigerator may be due to a clogged defrost drain tube. This also would require service to fix. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliances technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at the link below. http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm Again, we are so sorry that you are experiencing this with your refrigerator. Regarding the water dispenser: your site says that it dispenses 12-24 ounces of chilled water from the "reservoir", and then has to "re-chill" before more is available. How long does this "re-chilling cycle take , approximately?

Asked by: cjc73
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, this is a great question! When the water reservoir has been completely emptied it will refill. The amount of time it takes this new water to become chilled will depend on variables such as the temperature of the fresh food section and how frequently the door is being opened. This could take as long as an hour to fully cool. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

Hello - We hope you are doing well and staying safe. We hope you and the others are staying cool, we know ice can certainly help out with that. We're happy to clear this up for you. This is a beautiful model and the automatic icemaker is awesome. The ice maker will produce seven cubes per cycle approximately 100–130 cubes in a 24-hour period, this can vary due to door openings or temperature selection.
