Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise. Lawn equipment, seasonal items, and special order merchandise are excluded from the lifetime reinstatement benefit. See a store associate for complete details.

Why are my clothes ALWAYS very hot when the cycle is complete?

Asked by: fjefjkrib4
Hi there, Thank you for choosing GE Appliances for your home. We apologize that you're experiencing this with your washer and are happy to help provide guidance. There are a few potential causes that could be affecting the water temperature and causing incorrections. The water supply may be improperly connected. To fix this, make sure hoses are connected to correct faucets. Another cause may be the house water heater is not set properly. To resolve this issue, Make sure house water heater is delivering water at 120°–140°F (48°–60°C). If the problem persist, we recommend scheduling service. You can schedule a service appointment with a GE Appliances technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at the link below. http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm We hope this helps, have a great day! -Garrett@GEA

The Smart Dispense system appears not to work. We poured powdered soap (HE) into the compartment, then ran a load through a normal/hot cycle. When that was completed, the soap was at the same level.

Hi! Thank you for choosing GE Appliances for your home. We are so sorry that you have experienced loud noises from your washer when in use. We are more than happy to help. It is normal operating function for this unit to exude some noise when in use. We recommend loading items in the tub more loosely, and loading the tub with fewer items. Just received my new washing machine. Washed one load of clothes and now it will not power one. Is there a resent button?

Asked by: fishinqueen
Hi there, Congratulations on your new washer! We hate to hear that you are having some power issues and are happy to look into this for you! We recommend disconnecting the unit from power for 30 seconds to a minute and reconnecting it. Sometimes, using a new appliance can cause your breaker to trip and resetting the breaker or disconnecting it from the wall will automatically reset the system. If this doesn't solve the issue, you can check page 28 of the owner's manual for some additional information through this link, https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-3000217-5.pdf If none of these solutions help then we would recommend reaching out to our service department to see if a technician can come diagnose this. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm We hope this helps and we appreciate you taking the time to check with us. How do I adjust the rinse temp on this model? Seems my cold cycle is rinsing at a hot temp.

Asked by: SnTB
Hi! We are sorry that you are experiencing incorrect temperatures in your washer! We are happy to help and resolve this for you. A few things that could be affecting the water temperature and causing incorrections are that the water supply is not connected properly- make sure the hoses and all the connections are secure and in the correct places. Also, we recommend checking the settings on your house water heater and make sure it is delivering water at 120-140 degrees F. If the problem persist, we recommend scheduling service with us. My washer is stuck on Control locked and will not start

Asked by: Teddy14
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us! We are so sorry to hear that your controls will not unlock and know you must be frustrated. You can lock the controls to prevent any selections from being made. Or you can lock or unlock the controls after you have started a cycle. Children cannot accidentally start the washer by touching pads with this option selected. To lock/unlock the washer, press and hold the Control Lock/Light-Control Lock pad for 3 seconds. A sound is made to indicate the lock/unlock status. The control lock icon on the display will light up when it is on. NOTE: The Power pad can still be used when the machine is locked. If your controls will not unlock after following the above directions, please disconnect power to the washer for two to three minutes. This will reset the electronic components and hopefully restore normal functioning. Should the issue persist, this will require service by a qualified technician. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm. I am needing to wash my king size comforter but I don't want it to get soaked then not be able to wash or spin due to being too heavy. Will this washer successfully wash a king size comforter? If so, what is the best setting to wash it on? Thanks!

Asked by: Anonymous
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, this is a great question! Most comforters will wash properly in our washers as long as the below is followed: Front-load – The comforter fits behind the washer tub gasket and is not stuffed into the tub tightly. The thickness, density, and overall size of the comforter should be taken in account when deciding whether to wash the comforter in a washer. If washing a comforter you will want to utilize the Bulky wash cycle. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

The user's manual says on page 5 that Loads Left "Displays the estimated number of wash loads left for the amount of detergent in the SmartDispense tank." How can I display the Loads Left? or when does Loads Left work?

Asked by: Dfe34
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us! We are sorry for the confusion about this feature and are happy to advise. The low level detergent alert comes on at 10 loads and will start counting down. Loads left are calculated on previous habits. To clarify the "Loads Left" will not display until this low level mark is reached. "Tank Low" will display when the SmartDispense tank needs to re-filled. Typically, this first lights up when there are approximately 8-10 loads of detergent remaining. "Loads Left" displays the estimated number of wash loads left for the amount of detergent in the SmartDispense tank. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA
