Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise. Lawn equipment, seasonal items, and special order merchandise are excluded from the lifetime reinstatement benefit. See a store associate for complete details.

When opening and closing the drawers, the pedestal/drawer guides are noisy, clanky, and not smooth at all. To be sure, both drawers open/close completely and they appear to be on their rails.  This occurs on both pedestals. Is that normal?

what chemical causes this unit to fall into Prop 65?

Asked by: HDepot
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, this is a great question! We comply with all federal, state and international requirements regarding hazardous substances and meet those standards. We also comply with federal and state chemical labeling laws, like California Proposition 65. The presence of a Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean the product is unsafe or poses a health risk. Over 800 chemicals are on this list, including wood dust, nickel (found in stainless steel), nicotine, and alcohol. Additionally, even inaccessible parts can cause the warning. We can understand your concern; however, we do not provide detailed information about what causes the Prop 65 warning to apply. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

Can risers be stacked to total 14” of height before adding to washing machine or can only one riser be used? Thank you

Asked by: Valboski456
Hi there, Thanks for reaching out to us, and for your interest in GE Appliances! This is a great question. Two risers can not be stacked to total 14". The only combination for stacking from the bottom to the top is RISER, WASHER, and then DRYER. There is an optional Pedestal accessory we offer, providing an additional 16" of height to your washer and extra storage. The part number for this accessory is GFP1528PNRS. Below, we have attached the link to this part for your convenience. https://www.geappliances.com/appliance/GE-Pedestal-GFP1528PNRS We appreciate you checking with us, and we hope this helps! -Garrett@GEA

My user manual says Self Clean should take 90 minutes but the display only reads 51 minutes and water will not enter my tub in the self clean cycle. It will in every other setting though. Any help?

Asked by: mamasteph2009
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us! Based on what you have described the Self Clean cycle is not functioning properly. This cycle should run for 90 minutes and use water. Please disconnect power to the washer for two to three minutes. This will reset the electronic components and hopefully restore normal functioning to the Self Clean cycle. Should these issues persist, this will require service by a qualified technician. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm. Thinking of getting this with the gas dryer & stacking. First, will the dial on the top unit be hard to reach? How do people get around that? 2nd, I have a pan with a drain in the middle, 33"-34" in depth by 29" wide. Will that work?

Asked by: Supaflymo
Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us, we understand dimensions can be tricky but finding the perfect fit is important. Were happy to help! The optional stacking kit is available for this model, which we have linked here below for your viewing and available purchase options. https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/spec/GFA28KITN?SpecType=SpecType The dimensions on this model are 28" W, 34" D, and 37.75" H, so your drain pan should work. The total height with the stacking kit for the washer and dryer would be approximately 6.2 Feet from the very bottom to the very top. Depending on your personal height, some may have a bit more trouble reaching than others. If you believe you may have trouble reaching the top controls, we suggest that you stack them side by side. We really hope this is helpful for you. Thank you so much for taking interest in GE Appliances, we are confident you will love these products for years to come! -SAM@GEA We hope this

What is the ideal space requirement for your largest washer and dryer including space required behind the unit to keep it off the wall and allow for plumbing and venting, and keeping the front from being in the way of a room door.

Asked by: Steve Asks
Hello! We are so grateful that you are considering GE Appliances for your home. We know how important it is to have peace of mind that your new washer and dryer will fit in your space. We are happy to provide guidance. When shopping for washers and dryers on our website, you can conveniently refine your results by size, type, color, etc. To see our largest capacity washers and dryers, you'll want to select the largest capacity option under "Washer Capacity (cubic feet)" on the washer page and "Dryer Capcity (cubic feet)" on the dryer page. These will be on the left side of the screen under "Refine Your Results". The largest washer and dryer available for your space will depend on your preferences. For example: front load or top load washers, stackable or side-by-side, matching washer and dryer pairs, fuel type of the dryer etc. For all of our models, you can find required space, venting, and clearances specific to that model in the Installation Instructions and Quick Specs. When viewing a specific washer or dryer, scroll down below the photos and click on "Owner Support". Under "Manuals & Downloads" you will find the Quick Specs and Installation documents. You can find dimensions and clearances for the models there and get an idea of how much space each model takes up and is required for proper installation. We hope this helps! If you have questions specific to one of our models, please reach out. We are always happy to assist. Happy Friday! Sydney@GEA

I will change my washer/dryer to the new models. Is the SBSD137H5WW pedestal compatible with this new washer machine's model? Is the GFP1328SK0WW pedestal compatible with the new dryer machine's model?

Asked by: MardeLP2021
Hello and thank you for reaching out to us. We appreciate you taking a look at our washer dryer options. The matching pedestal for this unit would be GFP1528SNWW. You can compare the two using these links: GFP1528SNWW: https://www.geappliances.com/appliance/GE-Pedestal-GFP1528SNWW SBSD137H5WW: https://www.geappliances.com/appliance/Laundry-Front-Load-Pedestal-SBSD137HWW Please feel free to contact us by phone or chat with us on the website if you have any other questions or concerns: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/contact-others.htm. What is the maximum weight per load for the washer? Just bought this model and have a 15 lb weighted blanket that needs to be washed. Thank you!

Asked by: SpartyRD97
Hi, Thank you so much for getting in touch. This is a wonderful question and we're more than happy to help clear this up. This model is amazing and it's not limited in practical terms by the pounds or weight of clothes it can wash. It is limited by the volume of clothes that can be put in the machine. So, as long as the comforter can fit inside the drum, you are good to go. We know those weighted blankets are really heavy, and we definitely understand the concern. Hi there. Just received our new washer yesterday. I'm wondering if it is using enough water? The clothes are wet, but there is not really a visible water line with most loads... not even down below the window. Thanks!

Asked by: Time2Wash
Good afternoon, Congratulations on your new washer! This is a fantastic question and we understand your concern about the water level on this washer and are happy provide some information about this. This is totally normal with our new washers. The Department of Energy (DOE) sets standards for washer water usage. Over the years, the amount of allowable water usage has been reduced. With washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Thank you for taking the time to check with us and we hope this has helped. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to connect with us again. We look forward to a long and great future in your home. Take care! Drew@GEA
