Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise. Lawn equipment, seasonal items, and special order merchandise are excluded from the lifetime reinstatement benefit. See a store associate for complete details.

When opening and closing the drawers, the pedestal/drawer guides are noisy, clanky, and not smooth at all. To be sure, both drawers open/close completely and they appear to be on their rails.  This occurs on both pedestals. Is that normal?

Asked by: adelane
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us! We are quite sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the operation of your laundry pedestals. You must be so frustrated. What you have described would be considered normal operation. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. - Trey@GEA

What is the rinse temp? I set the wash for tap cold, but the cycle always seems to rinse with warm or hot water.

Asked by: 2Parents4Kids
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, this is a great question! The rinse cycle on this model is a Tap Cold temperature. If you are getting hot water during the rinse cycle, this will require service by a qualified technician. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm. what chemical causes this unit to fall into Prop 65?

Asked by: HDepot
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, this is a great question! We comply with all federal, state and international requirements regarding hazardous substances and meet those standards. We also comply with federal and state chemical labeling laws, like California Proposition 65. The presence of a Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean the product is unsafe or poses a health risk. Over 800 chemicals are on this list, including wood dust, nickel (found in stainless steel), nicotine, and alcohol. Additionally, even inaccessible parts can cause the warning. We can understand your concern; however, we do not provide detailed information about what causes the Prop 65 warning to apply. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

Clothing, athletic wear, particularly is coming out of the washer with permanent wrinkles.  I use the normal or delicate cycle and wash all clothing with cold water. Size of load does not matter.  How do I stop this from happening?

Can risers be stacked to total 14” of height before adding to washing machine or can only one riser be used? Thank you

Asked by: Valboski456
Hi there, Thanks for reaching out to us, and for your interest in GE Appliances! This is a great question. Two risers can not be stacked to total 14". The only combination for stacking from the bottom to the top is RISER, WASHER, and then DRYER. There is an optional Pedestal accessory we offer, providing an additional 16" of height to your washer and extra storage. The part number for this accessory is GFP1528PNRS. Below, we have attached the link to this part for your convenience. https://www.geappliances.com/appliance/GE-Pedestal-GFP1528PNRS We appreciate you checking with us, and we hope this helps! -Garrett@GEA

Does it come with all required hoses? What about power cord? I noticed the compatible dryer does not come with the power cord, which is why I ask about this washer.

Asked by: Guadaluj
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, and for your interest in GE Appliances. This is a great question! The power cord comes with this washer. The hoses must be purchased separately. You can view details on the hoses you need on page 18 of the owner's manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-3000217-5.pdf. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

My user manual says Self Clean should take 90 minutes but the display only reads 51 minutes and water will not enter my tub in the self clean cycle. It will in every other setting though. Any help?

Asked by: mamasteph2009
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us! Based on what you have described the Self Clean cycle is not functioning properly. This cycle should run for 90 minutes and use water. Please disconnect power to the washer for two to three minutes. This will reset the electronic components and hopefully restore normal functioning to the Self Clean cycle. Should these issues persist, this will require service by a qualified technician. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA
