Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise. Lawn equipment, seasonal items, and special order merchandise are excluded from the lifetime reinstatement benefit. See a store associate for complete details.

I just had this dryer installed two weeks ago. From day one, there is a constant faint beeping sound that comes from the control panel, only when it is not in use. If the door is open, it stops. Does anyone else have this issue?

Asked by: kh223
Hello! Thank you for choosing GE Appliances for your home. We are so sorry to hear that you are experiencing these sounds with your dryer. We are more than happy to provide guidance. This is not normal operating function. We recommend resetting your unit by disconnecting power from your unit for 2-3 minutes and reconnecting. If the sound persists after resetting your unit, this will require service by a qualified technician. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliances technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at the link below. http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm We appreciate you reaching out to us. I live in CA and I see that there’s a prop 65 warning. Could you please elaborate on why the product isn’t prop 65 compliant? Does it have lead or other heavy metals in it?

Asked by: Tobe123
Hi there! Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the Prop 65 concern. We are happy to provide guidance. The presence of a Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean the product is unsafe or poses a health risk. Over 800 chemicals are on this list, including wood dust, nickel (found in stainless steel), nicotine, and alcohol. Additionally, even inaccessible parts can cause the warning. I can understand your concern; however, we do not provide detailed information about what causes the Prop 65 warning to apply. Again, we appreciate you reaching out. We hope this helps. - Adrian@GEA

Not all dimensions are provided for the location of the dryer vent outlet. I see a height from floor but what is the center line of the left to right location?

Asked by: samjackson
Good afternoon samjackson, We hope all is well and we would like to thank you for taking the time to find these measurements! After reviewing the specs of this model there is a measurement of 8" to CL when side venting. When measuring from the very back edge of the unit this includes the protrusion for the heating elements. These are all the dimensions that we offer with this model. If you would like, we have posted the specs guide below, so that you are able to take a look as well! https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=GTD72EBSN_EBPN_19.pdf We hope this has helped and if you have any additional questions, please feel free to connect with us again! The timer does not always decrement when running a load through. I have noticed the cycle time is unchanged or has increased when setting a timer to match the cycle time. The clothes are dry, but the dryer is still working. Is this expected?

Asked by: ebkc
Hello ebkc, The apologize for the issue you are having with the dryer cycle time. We thank you for being a valued part of our GEA family. Yes it is normal for this dryer to still be working or running while the clothes are dry. If this continues to happen, make sure Wrinkle Care option is not selected. Wrinkle Care will automatically be turned on and cannot be turned off if the Steam Refresh or Steam De-wrinkle cycle is being used. The ecoDry feature is designed to operate your dryer in the most energy efficient mode, which is not always the fastest mode. In some instances, dry times may be extended to reduce overall energy usage for the cycle. This can cause increase when setting a timer to match a cycle time. We have enclosed the use and care manual for more helpful tips on this. See pages 12-14 for the information listed. https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-3000198-1.pdf Please let us know if you need any additional assistance. How do you reset it will not start. door is closed light is on and a # 1 shows up

Asked by: Tcraven
Hello Tcraven, thanks for bringing this concern to our attention. We're sorry your dryer isn't starting. We know how annoying this must be for you and we're happy to help. We recommend you disconnect the power to your dryer for 2-3 minutes to reset the controls on this dryer. Here are a few additional troubleshooting tips: - Make sure the dryer plug is pushed completely into the wall outlet. - Check that the dryer door is closed tightly. - Make sure that the cycle selection button is positioned on the desired temperature, fabric, and drying time. - Ensure that the START button has been depressed completely. - Open the dryer door and inspect the condition of the door switch. If the door switch is scorched or pushed in, this may cause the dryer not to operate. - Check to be sure that house circuit breakers/fuses are operational. The dryer should be on a separate circuit. - Inspect the power cord at back of the dryer for a broken, burned, or loose connection. Reconnect if necessary. If the problem persists, we recommend scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. You can do so by calling GE Appliance Service at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737). We hope this gets you on the right track! - Guy@GEA

Why does this dryer make a constant low frequency beeping noise when not in use?  The only way to stop it is to open the door or run the unit.  Is my brand new dryer defective?

Asked by: Lee Far
Ok, but it isn’t just after a cycle.  It is constantly beeping unless the dryer is in use.  For example, I used the dryer yesterday and this morning, about 18 hours after the last cycle ran, it is still beeping.

How do I get the 1H off my display for the dryer? I have held down the delayed dry button to have it show 0H. However, when I take my finger off of, it just goes back to 1H. Dryer seems to be working properly.

Asked by: MagieS
Hi MagieS - Thank you for reaching out to us. We are happy to assist you. The 1H may be the estimated time remaining in the current cycle selected. We would recommend turning the cycle dial to select a different cycle (Quick Dry, Air Fluff) to see if the display changes. If the issue persists, disconnect power to your dryer for 2-3 minutes to reset the electronics. If it still reads 1H once power is restored, we would recommend service. Asked by: WashingtonCrew
Hello WashingtonCrew, We appreciate you contacting us and are sorry you are getting the error code on the dryer. The door error code could indicate a problem with the door closure or door circuit. We recommend shutting off the circuit breaker or fuse to the dryer or unplugging it for a minute or two in an effort to reset the unit. After a minute or two, restore power and see if the dryer resets and operates correctly. If not, service may be needed. Hi JK01, We appreciate you reaching out. We're sorry your dryer door is hot to the touch! We understand how concerning this is for you and we're happy to help.
