Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise. Lawn equipment, seasonal items, and special order merchandise are excluded from the lifetime reinstatement benefit. See a store associate for complete details.

There is a wooden panel that goes between the washer and dryer I just ordered. I need to pre-cut a hole to allow the water line to pass through to feed the steam dryer. I ordered GFD65ESSNWW. Where is the connection? Top or bottom? How high is it?

Asked by: LarizaL
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us. This is a great question! The water connection on model GFD65ESSNWW dryer is located in the top left corner when you are facing the rear of the dryer. A diagram of this is shown on page 15 of the owner's manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-3000206-1.pdf. We replaced an older dryer with this one and this dryer works very well but has a knocking noise. The old dryer was quieter. Is this normal?

Is 32" depth measured from the extreme back panel to the front of the curved clear door? Do you have an image of the backside of the washer and matching dryer? I need to see if the existing water connection lines up so the depth is not an issue.

I am curious to know if the dryer and/or matching washer spin/agitate in both directions? I am tired of gotten sheet wrapping up with other clothes and have heard of they agitate in both directions the laundry will not wrap up in a ball.

Asked by: mcshaw
Hello mcshaw - Thanks for reaching out to us, and we apologize for our delayed response. This is a great question! This model dryer does not offer reverse tumbling. The tub direction on all our Front Load washers: Agitation: Tumble in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. Spin: Spin is only counterclockwise direction. During spin, the tub rebalance the load at lower speed in both directions. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

Just got this dryer to match the new washer. It does not get hot enough to dry in a reasonable amount of time. Over 2 hours for a normal size load of towels. The sanitize setting does not even get hot. The steam setting is just wet! I am so disappointed!

why cant i run it back thougt the same setting when it is not dry it want do it

Asked by: sissys
Hi sissys, Thanks for reaching out to us! We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your dryer. If you're attempting to dry a small load of clothing using a sensor cycle, like Normal for example, the clothing may not be touching the sensor rod and therefore, your unit believes everything inside to be dry. For smaller loads, we would recommend using the Timed Dry cycle. We hope that this helps! Stay safe.

If I stack these, will it be 79.5" (6'6")?  I'm 5'3 so will I be able to use this stacked?

Asked by: Suzie homemaker
Hi Suzie homemaker, Thanks for reaching out to us about this! If these units are stacked, their new height will be 79 1/2". With the unit contrasting your height, you may need to employ the help of a stepladder to reach fully into the dryer to retrieve the clothing. If this sounds like too much of a hassle, then we would recommend either not stacking them or perhaps purchasing a pedestal for both units to raise them just a bit more. Should you want to view the pedestal for this unit, you can click here: https://www.geappliances.com/appliance/GE-Pedestal-GFP1528SNWW?rrec=true We hope that this helps! However, should you have delicate clothing, items that are labeled "tumble dry low," you should still be able to dry them within this dryer. If you do so, be sure to set the temperature to LOW.
