Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise. Lawn equipment, seasonal items, and special order merchandise are excluded from the lifetime reinstatement benefit. See a store associate for complete details.

We too have a coin stuck in the baffles, it's less than a week old! Seriously, GE couldn't see this as a possible issue. Very disappointing, you should have better design engineering than this.

If the "Y" connector is NOT included in this model which is a steam dryer that needs cold water then are you saying you need to buy the "Y" connector for a steam dryer if you want to have the steam feature? Can you give me the part number and/or kit?

Asked by: Alohalife
Hi there! We are so happy to hear you're interested in this Smart Front Load Electric Dryer with the Steam and Sanitize Cycle. We love that this model has the powersteam feature to refresh small loads and de-wrinkle larger loads with the power of steam! We are always happy to help you understand the many amazing features of our dryers. Models with steam features do require a cold water connection to use these features. Since the washer must also connect to the cold water, a “Y” connector can be inserted to allow both inlet hoses to make that connection at the same time. You can find a list of options for steam water hoses on page 15 of the Use & Care Manual (linked below). You can also find instructions for connecting the inlet hose on page 17. These parts are in fact sold separately and do not come with the dryer. Use & Care Manual: products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-3000206-3.pdf The complete steam kit can be found here (WE25X20060): www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/spec/WE25X20060?SpecType=SpecType We hope this helps and that you get to enjoy all the wonderful features of this model very soon. Have a great week-Sydney@GEA

What are the two thin metal pieces on the inside of the dryer where the lint screen is? They are pulling away and catching on my clothes, ruining them. I've only had the dryer one day and am not happy.

Asked by: Bek83
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, and for your purchase of a new GE Appliance! We truly appreciate your choice to do business with us and are so sorry to hear that your clothes have been damaged. As clothes tumble, they make contact with several components around the door; however, clothes (and fabric softener sheets) should not get caught on the lint filter, sensor rods, or under the edge of the drum. If this is occurring, you may see tears, holes, or snags in the items being dried, or you may see black marks on cuffs, collars, etc. If you are experiencing these symptoms, we recommend service. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm. Is there a detangle option for bulky items or sheets?

Asked by: Big Dlc
Hi there! Thank you for choosing GE Appliances for your home. We are happy to provide guidance. This model washer does not have a detangle option for bulky items or sheets. When washing bulky items, we recommend loading the items in the tub very loosely to ensure the tangling of the items is minimal. Loading the items loosely also enhances washing performance. We do apologize about any inconvenience this causes. We appreciate you connecting with us. Please feel free to reach out to us with any additional questions you may have. If attaching a typical flexible 4" exhaust pipe/hose at rear, then curving it 90 degrees to exhaust to a side wall, what does that make the total unit depth? Hard to tell how much beyond 32" from the diagrams.

Asked by: tcm70
I followed up by phone with GE, as this answer did not sound correct. The rep confirmed that based on the way the exhaust hose would mount to the recessed rear exhaust, once you turn the flexible hose 90 degrees it would extend the unit's depth by the width of the hose.  So total depth is 36".

Are there space requirements behind the dryer? I have a 36" deep closet and had read on other websites that there needs to be a 6" space between the dryer and the wall.

Asked by: Sarah123456
Hi Sarah123456, Thank you for reaching out to us here at GEA! We are always happy to assist! Here are the space requirements behind the dryer. Minimum clearance between dryer cabinet and adjacent walls or other surfaces is: 0” for the rear. For improved performance, a 1/2” clearance is suggested on each side. We sure hope this helps! How does the wrinkle care option work? I've had it on and it seemed like my dryer just kept running even after the alloted time for cycle.

Asked by: Amcge1
Hi Amcge1, Thank you for reaching out and your interest in GE Appliances. Use this option to minimize the wrinkles in clothes. It provides 1 hour of no-heat tumbling after the clothes are dry. If you are using the cycle Sound and you select the Wrinkle Care option, a signal will sound at the end of the drying time and several times during the Wrinkle Care cycle. This will remind you that it is time to remove the clothes. Thanks for checking! Dom@GEA
