Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise. Lawn equipment, seasonal items, and special order merchandise are excluded from the lifetime reinstatement benefit. See a store associate for complete details.

When does the convection fan blow? Does it go on and off when using the standard baking setting? I have heard the fans are really loud (and annoying) so I am wondering how much control I have over the fan.

Asked by: OVEN FAN question
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, and for your interest in GE Appliances. This is a great question! The convection fan does not start until preheat is reached. On the gas range, the convection fan will cycle off every time the unit calls for heat. It is normal for the fan to cycle on and off frequently during the convection cooking cycle. Algorithms decide when elements and fans should run to create the optimal heat distribution within the oven cavity. The convection fan will not operate when baking without convection. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

Air fryer guide mentions higher temp and time to cook compared to counter air fryer. Is there more info on how to properly adjust cook times and temperatures? Fries, on a mesh, raised sheet, are taking 2x as long as air fryer instructions on package.

Asked by: Nathene
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, this is a great question! We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the Air Fry mode on your range, and can understand you must be frustrated. If you’re using a recipe meant for a countertop air fryer, you may need to cook your food a little longer or at a slightly higher temperature. Dark baking or sheet pans are recommended for in-oven air fry. They absorb more heat and promote better browning and crisping. Aside from these recommendations, some experimentation may be needed to find the right combination of time and temperature. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

The drawer has no rails for pulling it out and in. Is this normal? Usually a drawer has guides on the drawer and rails on the side of the appliance.

Why does my oven turn off automatically and display shows LOC? We do not set a time and we do not press and hold Cook Time button. We hit Bake, set temp and the Start. Every time we use the stove after approx 20 min the stove shuts down and display LOC.

Asked by: chipecan
Hello, Thank you for choosing GE Appliances for your home. We are happy to help. We apologize that your range is not functioning properly, we understand how frustrating this can be. If LOC ON appears in the display, the range control is locked. Turn this feature off to use the range. To do this, press and hold Lock Controls pad, for three seconds to lock or unlock the control. If this doesn't help solve the problem, we recommend resetting the electronics to the range by removing the plug for 30 seconds or by shutting the power off at the breaker then reconnecting. If problems persist, we recommend scheduling service. You can schedule a service appointment with a GE Appliances technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at the link below. http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm We hope this helps, feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions or concerns. -Garrett@GEA

Is the stove supposed to pour the same degree heat into the kitchen the entire time the oven is on bake? the heat pours out between the elevated black panel & the elevated silver panel with stove icons. It makes the kitchen very hot.

Asked by: puppy7
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, this is a great question! When the oven is in use, warm air will blow periodically from the oven vent located behind the cooktop. This helps the oven regulate its temperature and keep the internal components of the range cool. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. - Trey@GEA
