Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). What is the lowest temperature setting for non-convection baking? Sometimes we like to cook things low and slow and want to make sure that we can set the temp low enough. Thanks!

Asked by: Meg64
Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us at GE Appliances. This is a great question, and we are happy to assist! All of our ovens will bake at a range of 170-550 degrees F. This is the temperature range for the traditional bake, convection bake, and roast cooking modes. We hope this helps! - Brittany@GEA

It is impossible to set the clock. When we push the “pad” of set clock and hold it three seconds, two seconds, five seconds, etc., nothing happens. The number buttons do nothing.

The manual has next to no info on the air fryer. Do you have a seperate guide? It seems to take a very long time to cook foods to a crisp finish, is there a reason for this? Is the air fryer suppose to cycle on and off throughout the cooking process?

Asked by: ALLahr
Hello there! Thank you kindly for taking the time to reach out to us. We hope everything is well with you and we are definitely happy to help out. For the best assistance we recommend checking out page 21 of the Use and Care manual as it's a dedicated Air Frying cooking guide. Also, it is normal to hear the fan cycle during this mode, this way foods can get that optimal crisp and cook. Here is a link to a digital version of the manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-2000782-2.pdf We hope this helps out. Can the GE model # JGB735SPSS be used on the same circuit as a 900Watt microwave. Nothing else is on the circuit in question. The microwave receptacle is in a cabinet above the range on a dedicated circuit. I would connect a receptacle behind the oven.

Asked by: GUZ75
Good afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to check with us about the installation of this gorgeous free-standing range. We are happy to provide you with the necessary electrical requirements! When installing a gas range or oven, they do not use a ton of electricity, so it should not make that large of an impact. However, as long as the circuit meets the guidelines of the electrical requirements for this specific range, you should be just fine combining these two appliances to one circuit. Before installing this, we would recommend checking the top right of page 2 in the installation manual, to ensure your circuit meets the circuit requirements. You can find this manual with the link we have posted below. https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=31-2000744.pdf If you have any additional questions, feel free to check with us again. Asked by: cook king
Hello! Thank you so much for reaching out to us with this inquiry. We're definitely more than happy to help shed some light and give you some world class assistance. When taking a look at the LP kit pamphlet using the bottom half of the guide you should see that the bake and broil orifices' must be replaced rather than converted. This range should have came with the kit inside a metal box located behind the storage drawer or right next to the regulator. Just got this and was burning off the "new" smell in convection bake mode but I did not notice the fan turning on. When in convection mode, is the fan supposed to be on on all the time or does it cycle on and off?

Asked by: Ben3636
Hello, Thank you for being a valued GE Appliances family member. This is a great question and we are happy to help! During any of the convection functions the convection fan will operate the entire cooking time, though the fan and heating elements will turn off when the oven door is opened and turn back on when door is closed. On gas ranges, the fan begins once preheat has completed, and it will cycle off each time the unit calls for heat. Although the convection fan will come on to assist with preheating in a conventional cooking cycle, the fan will turn off once the desired temperature is attained. We hope this helps! Let us know if you have any additional questions. Del@GEA

My cook top is higher than the counter is this normal? If you want to use the broiler how do you keep the food juice off the bottom of the oven?

Asked by: Keno111
Hello Keno111, Thank you for choosing GE Appliances for your home. We are here to help with your cooktop and broiler questions. It is acceptable for the cooktop to be slightly higher than the counters. In no case should it ever be lower due to potential heat damage. It will be the installer decision if the cooktop is higher than the counter. To keep the food juice off the bottom of the oven, you can use a broiler pan with drip pan included. We do sell these items on our GEA parts website as item number WB48X10056. what is Sabboth mode

Asked by: Karat222
Hi Karat222, Thank you for contacting us here at GEA. This is a great question and we are happy to assist. The observance of the Sabbath and religious holidays in Judaism requires a restriction on certain activities during holy times. Jewish religious laws can apply to the use of appliances during the Sabbath (ex. the oven cannot be turned on or off). GE Appliances has worked with third party kosher certification agencies, like Star-K, to develop Sabbath Mode features for many GE Appliances. When the Sabbath Mode feature is activated, the oven will no longer turn off automatically while cooking after 12 hours and the control display will not show time, temperature, or selected oven function until the Sabbath Mode feature is manually deactivated. We hope this help! Have a great day! Del@GEA

Is there a non-convection mode for baking? Are knobs dishwasher safe? Can oven racks be left in for Steam Clean? Is the optional center grate dishwasher safe, like the other grates?

Asked by: maine50
Hi maine50, Thank you for reaching out and choosing GE Appliances. Yes, there is a non-convection baking mode. The traditional bake mode is intended for single rack cooking. This mode uses heat primarily from the lower element but also from the upper element to cook food. Preheating is generally recommended when using this mode. To use this mode press the Bake pad, enter a temperature with the number pads, and then press Start. The knobs are made of stainless steel and stainless steel scratches easily, and even a mild kitchen scrubbing pad will mar or scratch the surface. We recommend to Use a microfiber cloth. These are more effective than lint-free cotton cloths as they leave less fibrous material on the surface of the stainless steel. The racks can be left in the oven when using the Steam Clean feature. The steam will loosen soil on the racks as well as the oven interior, which then can be wiped off with a soapy dishcloth. Grates can be cleaned in dishwasher as long as they are enamel coated on the bottom. We hope this helps! Dom@GEA

We installed our stove today; after turning the oven on to 350F, the metal trim plate behind the knobs became quite hot, particularity on the left side. Is this normal? How can I verify that the oven door is sealing properly?

Asked by: starwarsgirl17
Hi starwarsgirl17, Thank you for reaching out and congratulations on your new stove! If the oven door locks during the self-clean cycle, the door is sealing properly. The gasket is what seals the opening of your oven to prevent the heat from leaking out. The gasket around the door or oven opening is brand new and will be somewhat stiff. It is compressed more by the hinges than at the top. After the oven is used several times the gasket will become more pliable and "mold" itself to the door and oven cavity to create a tighter seal. To speed the process the oven may be ran through a short self clean cycle. We hope this helps! Dom@GEA
