Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). I bought GE model #JB655YK6FS. I read before buying this model that I could leave the racks in oven during the self-cleaning cycle. But looking at the racks of my new oven, they look like regular metal, silver in color, not coated. Are they self-cleaning?

We do not recommend using any kind of diffuser for our gas or electric model ranges. A "diffuser" is a solid or perforated piece of metal used to lower the heat of a burner. Do not use any kind of diffuser or similar product on any cooktop burner, including Calrod, solid disk, induction, radiant/halogen surface. We do not have additional accessories for this model that will do something similar to a heat diffuser. We apologize for this inconvenience. Brand new and I'm thinking it's not right.  The oven control area clicks a lot the whole time it preheats and bakes plus it doesn't get to temperature.  Also, is the convection fan supposed to go on and off so often?  Not liking how it's working.

Hello buncy - We are glad you were able to reach out to us with this. We're definitely happy to provide some clarity in these situations. We have found that the control area clicking is normal; it's just the mechanism making sure to set the temperature the correct way. However, if the temperature is not being reached then we would recommend trying a reset of the electronics. This can be done by removing the power cord for 30 seconds and then plugging back in. As for the convection fan, it is also normal for it to cycle on and off. This is to ensure that the hot air is being directed properly. We apologize about any confusion and inconvenience. I'm having trouble getting the oven light turned off on the lower oven of the 30" 6.6 cu. ft. Freestanding Electric Range with 5 Elements and Convection Oven. Can you help me?

Hi there Jo Wa, We are sorry to hear the bulb in your lower oven is not wanting to turn off and appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us about this! We noticed the model you sent us is JB655SKSS and this is not a double oven model. The model equivalent that is a double oven is JBS86SPSS. Let us know if this is the range you have so we can accurately diagnose this! If the lower bulb doesn't want to turn off this might be because the bulb is loose or defective. Often times when a light bulb is not properly functioning, it isn't seated correctly and we recommend trying tightening. If simply readjusting the bulb does not fix this, then we recommend getting a replacement bulb. If you have tightened the existing bulb and tried to replaced it with a new bulb and you are still having this problem, the issue might be with the operating pad to the light. To diagnose the functionality of the operating pad, you would need to schedule an appointment with one of our experienced service technicians! If I move a frying pan to another burner it leaves a horrible mark. I SCRUB it with the cooktop cleaner and a cloth but I can't do this each time. Do I have to buy new cookwear? My last ceramic top did not leave marks.

We recommend to be careful not to slide pots and pans across your cooktop. It will leave metal markings on the cooktop surface. These marks are removable using the ceramic cooktop cleaner with a non- scratch cleaning pad for ceramic cooktops. Carefully check the bottom of pans for roughness that would scratch the cooktop. I am having problems with the pre heat cycle. When the ph light goes off the oven is NEVER at the set temp. I had 3 techs here have a case number. Bought stove in November and issue began right away. I am NOT HAPPY with the stove, want it replaced.

Can I use this stove to can vegetables and meat?

Observe the following points in canning: Do not use large diameter canners or other large diameter pots for frying or boiling foods other than water. Flat bottomed canners must be used. When canning, use recipes and procedures from reputable sources. These are available from canning jar manufacturers and county extension offices. I've had several convection ranges in the past. This range does not seem to maintain heat, nor does the fan seem to be circulating very correctly. Not sure why, but it should not take 16 min to bake 9-11 min pb cookies. Door opens and it goes to preheat.

Does the light in the oven come on when oven door is opened?

The hot stovetop lettering is there, however, it does not light when the stovetop is hot.

With my current convection oven the fan Cycles on and off about every 10 seconds during the entire cooking process. Will this fan remain on or do they all cycle on and off like this?

The Range JB735DPWW and the JB655DKWW - I am debating on which to buy. Are the cooktops solid black on both of these. Also do they have a hidden bottom oven element. I do not want an exposed bottom element.
