Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

I've had several convection ranges in the past. This range does not seem to maintain heat, nor does the fan seem to be circulating very correctly. Not sure why, but it should not take 16 min to bake 9-11 min pb cookies. Door opens and it goes to preheat.

Asked by: Roberta Cotton
Hi there Roberta Cotton, We are sorry to hear that you are having a heating issue with this range and are happy to look into this! We completely understand your concern with your range taking longer than it should to preheat. Your range has been designed to maintain a tighter control over your oven's temperature. You may hear your oven's heating elements click on and off much more frequently than in older ovens, this is the convection fan. Not to worry, that is a normal sound. This achieves better results during baking, broiling, and self-clean cycles. This link has additional information about preheating and some common preheat times. https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16540 If this does not explain any of the issues you are having and you still notice these issues, it might be something more in depth than we are able to diagnose without checking the unit out. If you would like to, you are more than welcome to reach out to us again with additional information regarding the circulating fan and heating and we will do all we can. You may also schedule a service if it doesn't seem like what we described is the issue you are having. One of our experienced service technicians will be more than happy to come and diagnose the problem! You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm Please let us know if we are able to help further. We are just a few clicks away! Have a great day! Drew@GEA

Does the light in the oven come on when oven door is opened?

Asked by: Wildel
Hi there Wildel, Thank you for being part of the GEA family! This is a beautiful model range and we are more than happy to help you with this question! Yes, this model has an automatic light in the oven. When the door is opened the oven light will illuminate. There is also a switch that allows you to turn the light on when the oven cavity is closed to check on your food with better lighting! We hope this helps and have a great day! Drew@GEA

Where can I find the estimated wattage for using this product? Is there an energy guide? Ex: Oven kWh usage at 350F and 400F.

Asked by: Cost Conscious Baker
Hi Cost Conscious Baker, Thanks so much for checking in and asking us this amazing question. We are more than happy to help. You can check out the kWh ratings inside the Quick Spec manual. This beautiful range has two ratings for 240v and 208v; they are (12.5 and 9.4). Here is a link to the manual for your convenience: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=JB655DK_c2.pdf Thank you so much for your interest. The hot stovetop lettering is there, however, it does not light when the stovetop is hot.

Asked by: Clg923
Hi Clg923, We are sorry your light is not illuminating and we are happy to help. After looking through diagnostics we recommend disconnecting the power to the unit at the breaker or the fuse box and wait a minute before reconnecting. If the issue has not been fixed after trying this we recommend scheduling a service technician to come out and diagnose the problem. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm We hope this helps and have a great day! With my current convection oven the fan Cycles on and off about every 10 seconds during the entire cooking process. Will this fan remain on or do they all cycle on and off like this?

Asked by: Jjusmc
Hi Jjusmc, This is a great question and thank you for reaching out to us. This is normal, your range cycles the heating elements by turning relays on and off to maintain the oven temperature to ensure an evenly cooked final product. We hope this helps! Drew@GEA

Is there a way to change the preset starting temperature? I use 400 more often than 350.

Asked by: SED13
Hello SED13 - Thanks for reaching out to us, this is a great question! Press the Bake or Convection Bake pad, use the + and - pads to set the desired temperature, and then press Start. Preheating is generally recommended when using these modes. Unfortunately there is not a way to adjust the default temperature setting that displays after you initially select your cooking mode. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. - Trey@GEA

The Range JB735DPWW and the JB655DKWW - I am debating on which to buy. Are the cooktops solid black on both of these. Also do they have a hidden bottom oven element. I do not want an exposed bottom element.

Asked by: Lina20
Hello Lina20, thank you for contacting us. This is a great question that we're happy to answer. Both the cooktops on these ranges are black. However, neither range has a hidden bake element. If you're wanting a hidden bake element, we recommend checking out model PB935YPFS. You can see this range here: https://www.geappliances.com/appliance/GE-Profile-30-Smart-Free-Standing-Electric-Convection-Fingerprint-Resistant-Range-with-No-Preheat-Air-Fry-PB935YPFS - We hope this is useful information! - Guy@GEA
