Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise. Lawn equipment, seasonal items, and special order merchandise are excluded from the lifetime reinstatement benefit. See a store associate for complete details.

The produce bins make a very loud and terrible noise when sliding in and out. I put some Pam spray on them but it hasn't helped.

Asked by: BKraus
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us! We are so sorry about the noise your drawers are making and know you must be frustrated. Care must be taken in the selection and use of lubricants in refrigerators and freezers to prevent adverse consequences. All lubricants used inside refrigerators and freezers must be FDA approved to avoid contamination of foods. Pure Paraffin Wax (not candle wax) is what we recommended for use on door gaskets and drawer slides in a situation such as this. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

What is the maximum continuous watts it draws? How many watts for start-up surge? The faceplate info is insufficient re above, and is contradicted by spec data. Specs say 120v & 15 amps, which would be 1800 watts. That can't be what it's actually drawing

Asked by: mendel duvid
Hi there! Thank you for connecting with us for your question. We are more than happy to provide guidance. If you are planning an electrical system to account for 1800 watts, this model refrigerator may use the entire 1800 watts if all features are being used including the compressor, lights, etc. This model refrigerator is rated at 1.2 Amps at startup and approximately 1.0 Amp for normal operation. The required power ratings for this model is 120 volts and 15 amps. We appreciate you reaching out to us, and we hope this information helps! Please feel free to reach out to us with any additional questions you may have. - Adrian@GEA

Hello. I just purchased this refrigerator and plugged it in. Is the foam supposed to stay inside the vent inside the refrigerator? It seems like it might be blocking the airflow. The freezer is cold but the refrigerator isn't cold yet.

Asked by: stephanie123456789
Hello -Thanks for reaching out to us, and for your purchase of a new GE Appliance! We truly appreciate your choice to do business with us, and are happy to advise. Many top-mount refrigerators have a section of styrofoam above the freezer control dial. This is not packing material and should not be removed. Styrofoam may also be located around the vent and in the roof of the refrigerator and should not be removed. If you have removed this, you will need service to have it replaced. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA
