Does the electric range come in a hardwire model?

Asked by: AngBeth
Hi AngBeth, Thank you for reaching out to us and for your interest in GE Appliances. We apologize for our delay responding and are happy to help. All electric wall ovens, cooktops and drop in ranges must be hard wired (direct wired) inside an approved junction box. Thanks for checking! Dom@GEA

Hi. This model came with the purchase of our new built home. It has been registered. I do not hear when the oven is pre heated, can this be adjusted? Also, I was baking potatoes at 375* and it took 2.5 hrs to cook all the way through. Do I need to adjust?

Asked by: Baby Dolls
Hi Baby Dolls, thanks for reaching out to us. I apologize for the delay in responding. I'm happy to help. Your range has a fixed preheat signal that cannot be adjusted. I apologize for any inconvenience. Regarding the baking temperature, I recommend trying the biscuit bake test in the following link: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16653 If the biscuits are overcooked or undercooked, your oven may need to be calibrated. To calibrate your oven temperature, follow the instructions for Adjust the Oven Temperature on page 12: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-80780-5.pdf I hope this helps!
