Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

How can I get it to shut off and on when a temperature is set? My landlord installed this without leaving a manual. I looked it up online and it seems whatever I do, it won’t set off. Right now, I have it set to COOL-AUTO-74, yet it constantly runs.

Hi! We appreciate you reaching out to us in regards of your air conditioner. We are happy to provide guidance. The compatible remote is part number WJ26X25653, and can be found on our Parts website at the link below. https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/spec/WJ26X25653 We have provided the Use and Care Manual at the link below as well. https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-5000469.pdf Again, thank you for reaching out to us. Does it dehumidify also? On amazon it says this model does, but not on this website.

Asked by: Claude1982
Hi Claude1982, thanks for checking with us! This unit does not have a specific dehumidify mode, but it does have a dehumidification rating of 2.1 pts/hr. As the unit cools, it pulls warm air out of the room and replaces it with cooler air, which helps remove moisture from the air. We hope this helps! -Megan@GEA

Just bought this unit yesterday, is it normal for the unit to just turn itself off? I have it set on COOL, HIGH and thermostat on 65.

Asked by: RW76
Hello RW76, congratulations on your new air conditioner! We're very sorry the air conditioner turning off is concerning you. We'll be happy to help. It is normal for the air conditioner to cycle off and on if the set temperature is reached. If the temperature wasn't reached and your air conditioner is turning off, we recommend you disconnect power to the unit for 2-3 minutes to reset the controls. If the problem persists, we recommend taking advantage of your warranty and scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. You can do so by calling GE Appliance Service at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737) or by clicking here: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm We hope this is helpful information! We're proud to have you in our GEA family. - Guy@GEA

when set on auto will it shut off when reaches that temp and back on when needed

Asked by: binx1
Hi binx1, Thank you for reaching out to us about your air conditioner. We're finding that if the room needs more cooling, the fan speed will automatically increase. If the room needs less cooling, the fan speed will automatically decrease. You can find this information in your owners manual on page 6 or at this link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-5000469.pdf If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to us at: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/contact.html Hope this helps! The filter light came on and the unit is now beeping and turning off, nothing I do is resetting it and unit won’t stay on, this is only the second summer in use. What can I do to fix??

Asked by: Jallan55
Hello Jallan55, Thank you for reaching out. We're sorry to know that your air conditioner is not running properly. We understand how frustrating that must be. There are several things that you can check if you do not feel any air movement from the front or do not hear any noise: Check to make sure the unit is still plugged in. Check to make sure the selector switch is turned on. Check the thermostat setting and make sure it is set properly. If possible, plug another appliance into the outlet and make sure it is still working. If outlet is not working, check house circuit breaker or fuse. If the power cord has a current interrupter device, press the TEST button and then the RESET button while it is still plugged into the outlet. If you have determined that none of these tips will resolve your issue, then you may need to consider scheduling service. You can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us via social media or through our Contact Us page. We hope this helps. Best wishes. Mike@GEA

How many smart phone devices can you connect to your unit. Me and my husband would like to connect our smartphone

Asked by: Lovely71
Hello Lovely71 - Thank you for your question; we are happy to help! Only one Account can control the Connected appliances; however, if two people share an Account using the same email and password, then they can each log in and access the appliances from different phones. We hope this helps. Thanks for checking! Olga@GEA
