Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

I am wondering if standard office chair "rollerblade" type wheels would work to replace the casters on the machine. I have pets and the typical caster-type wheels accumulate hair in them quite quickly. The rollerblade type wheels also glide much easier.

Asked by: xphile04
Good afternoon, We appreciate having you in our wonderful GEA family. We are happy to provide some information about replacing the castors for this machine! As far as replacing the castors for this model, you are able to so with the correct replacement. However, we do not recommend replacing them with a "rollerblade" type of wheel. We currently do not offer any additional replacements for this that will be like the wheels on an office chair. We apologize for this inconvenience. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us again. Have a great weekend! Drew@GEA

The machine is supplied with an "aerator adapter" according to your response to another question.  But the adapter that came with my machine doesn't aerate; it just splashes into the sink when the dishwasher isn't connected.  Can you explain, please?

Asked by: RickBee
Hello! Thank you for choosing GE Appliances for your home. This is a great question, and we are happy to help. We apologize that your aerator adapter isn't functioning properly. This issue can be caused by multiple factors, it could be an issue with the aerator adapter or faucet compatibility. It would help if we could see pictures and/or videos of the area in question. Please contact us via email at the link below: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/contact-others.htm Once we respond to your initial email, you will be able to attach any requested documents. Thank you for reaching out. We hope this helps. - Adrian@GEA

how do I know that the cycle is complete since I am unable to see the control panel?

Asked by: tre624
Personally, I just listen to the unit.  If it's completely silent for a good minute and it's been running for about the time on the display when it started, then I disconnect it and open the door. But you have a good point. The machine is defective in design insofar as one can't see the "minutes left" display window when it's running.  Was this even field tested?  I think I know the answer to that.

Hello -- I have run this dishwasher a total of 6 times, and two of those times were do-overs, because the soap dispenser didn't open. I'm now running it the 6th time, which is a do-over. I always confirm the spinners aren't obstructed. What is happening?

Asked by: Heidi RC
Hi -- I'm just wondering and trying to be helpful -- Is it possible that you put some sort of dish like a pie plate at the front edge of the bottom rack?  You know, if the cutlery tray was pushed back and it was placed in front of it? Perhaps a plastic cutting board or some other largish item that would block the detergent door from flipping open when the door is closed? Anyway, good luck with it. Sounds like a pain.            /Rick/

Are you able to hook this dishwasher to the plumbing?

Asked by: LSUM
Manufacturers used to make a type of DW they called "convertible".  These could be taken out of their case and connected directly if you remodelled your kitchen.  Nobody makes them anymore.

I just found out dishwashers require salt!? Where do I put salt in in my portable dishwasher?

Asked by: Jb05
Hi Jb05, We appreciate you reaching out and choosing GE Appliances. Citric acid crystals (sometimes called Sour Salt) are used to remove rust stains from objects placed inside the dishwasher. To remove these stains, you can treat with citric acid crystals following the steps below: Fill the detergent cup with three to four ounces of citric acid crystals and close the cup. Run the dishwasher through a normal cycle. Rinse thoroughly by running the dishwasher through another cycle without the crystals but with a full cup of detergent. Repeat the process if one treatment did not completely remove the staining. We hope this helps! Dom@GEA

I can not figure out how to turn on the dry cycle. Or if it even has one. Plz help!!

Asked by: Valerieilene
Hi Valerieilene, Thank you for reaching out and your interest in GE Appliances. We're sorry to hear about the issue with turning on the dry cycle, but we are glad to help! This dryer dishwasher drying feature is, Condensate Drying. Condensate Dry is an energy-efficient drying system on some dishwashers. With this drying system design, condensation will form on cooler surfaces in a warm humid environment. At the end of a cycle, while the dish load is still hot, the stainless steel tub walls are already cooling down and pulling condensation to form on the tub walls instead of the dishes. This provides natural air drying of the dish load. The use of a rinse agent ensures spot and film protection for dishes and assists the drying process. Thanks for checking! Dom@GEA

I have a GE Dishwasher (gpt225sgl0bb). The adapter that came with the unit does NOT fit our faucet. What faucet brand(s) do I need to get so the adapter will fit? Thank you ...

Asked by: Johcelyn
Hello Johclyn - Thanks for reaching out to us! We are so sorry to hear that you are having trouble connecting your new dishwasher to the sink faucet, and understand this must be frustrating. An aerator adapter is supplied with each portable dishwasher. Remove the existing strainer or aerator and screw on the aerator adapter. It fits most standard faucet spouts. An Aerator Faucet Adapter adapts your kitchen faucet to accept the dishwasher hose connection and reduces splashing in the sink when dishwasher is not hooked-up. We would recommend taking this part into your local hardware/plumbing store to help identify a new faucet that will work. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA
