Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

I'd like more details on the watts used so I can plan my power backup.  Is the 230 watt estimate for the run only, or would higher watts be used for surge?  Thank you.

Asked by: AmyHome
Hello AmyHome, We thank you for reaching out us here at GEA. We are happy to help assist you with your watt question. We use volts x amp to get the watts. 115 volts x 20 amps = 2300 watts. That would be used for the run. We recommend checking the installation instructions on page 4. We have included the manual below. https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000372-1.pdf We hope this helps! Del@GEA

What is the warmest setting for this freezer?

Asked by: Ben1919
Hi there Ben1919, Thank you for being part of the GEA family. We are happy to find the temperature setting specs! The correct operating temperature of chest and upright freezers, including smaller, compact models is -5 to +5 degrees Fahrenheit. In order to take the temperature of solid food, place a thermometer between frozen packages or in some ice cream. We recommend keeping your chest freezer at 0 degrees Fahrenheit for the best results! We hope this was the answer you were looking for! If you have any additional questions regarding this unit or any of its functions, feel free to reach out again, we are always happy to help! Drew@GEA

Can the freezer be temporarily stood on end to allow it to be maneuvered around a door entrance and down basement steps? Is there a period of time to wait after it is returned to level before plugging it in?

Asked by: Krugenator
Hi, Krugenator Thank you so much for reaching out to us. We really appreciate it and we are more than happy to help. Yes, when moving the freezer to the location for installation it's perfectly okay to change the orientation and you wouldn't have to wait any amount of time to plug it in. Thank you again for your interest! We hope this was helpful! Stay safe out there! Jonathon@GEA
